yep, so trying out something new here, trying to learn to sing and have been collecting YOUR recs – thanks to everyone that put strokes suggestions in the story message box today or yesterday. 📥📥📥 Here's a slightly crazy, neurotic rendition of Ode To The Mets @thestrokes – I'll try a proper full cover soon, so lemme know if you have any advice for a solo guitar + vocals version. Should probably slow it down. ☄️☄️☄️ Song: ODE TO THE METS written by: Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr, Nikolai Fraiture & Fabrizio Moretti = The Strokes, released in 2020 as the closing track to The New Abnormal, their 7th LP. 📀 Vocals & Guitar: Joey Thomas Brooks @jbrookslondon Recorded: 19th April 2026, London, UK #thestrokes #thevoidz #juliancasablancas #drumspleasefab #odetothemets taken in London, United Kingdom by @serenesonority
