Do you like journaling? I only keep a journal of my reading progress, and although I struggled this year to keep up with it, I intend to make it a hobby for next year. So I am already set with this cute reading journal (@illumicrate), monthly calendar bookmarks and stickers (@soadyart), and got an assortment of pens. Looking forward to starting!

Do you set up a tbr for every month or are you a mood reader? 🍁 I'm definitely the latter, but try to pick at least one or two books, which are "in the season". Here are some of my picks for October! Finished the bottom row last week, and liked both, even though I'm usually not a fan of horror. Hoping to get to the top row before the end of the month!

Happy New Year everyone! 🎉 Mine started with a very pleasant surprise. I recently won a giveaway hosted by @onemorechap , the prize was a book box, featuring "Shattered" by @joellehabbaki ! I received my goodies today and everything is perfect, can't wait to read this book! 😍

What's your favourite season? Mine is definitely Spring! 🌸 I love flowers and the gorgeous cover of "Daughter of the Moon Goddess" by Sue Lynn Tan definitely gives me all the Spring vibes. 🌕 It's a fantasy story, inspired by the legend of the Chinese moon goddess, Chang’e. Her secret daughter is our heroine, who tries to free her mother from her imprisonment, but it is a very dangerous quest, hiding her identity, trying to survive and gain power in the Celestial Kingdom. I loved the book, it was really interesting and beautifully written, can't wait to read the sequel and hear the end of the story! 😍

Long time no see! I'm back to recommend this book I finished two days ago and loved it! ❤️ "Only a Monster" by Vanessa Len was the featured book in the January 'Monsters Within' @fairyloot box and they hosted a readalong this week (I seriously recommend joining their readalong one of these days, they are so much fun!). This book really has it all: ya, urban fantasy, time travel, a world of monsters, romance. I'd definitely recommend it to ya urban fantasy fans! 🐉

October was a quite good reading month! 🍁 I managed to join and complete two readalongs by @fairyloot, making good progress on completing some series which I haven't finished yet, and everything I read this month was 4-5 stars read. ✨

❕ I'm participating, but set the goal a bit lower, so if something happens, I could still manage it, so I'm already done, no pressure. 🙌

Do you like to participate in readalongs? 📚 I do! It's fun to talk with others about the things you read, plus it gives me the extra motivation to finish at a certain pace. If you'd like to try out one, there is still time to join the @illumicrate readalong on Discord! We are reading "She Who Became the Sun" by Shelley Parker-Chan. The book is dubbed as Mulan meets The Song of Achilles, and it's about a girl who takes his brother's identity and lives his destiny of achieving greatness. We are on day 3 and I love it so far! 💛

Do you like fairytale retellings? I do! ✨ My current read is "For the Wolf" by Hannah Whitten, which is a dark fantasy novel, first of The Wilderwood series, it does give me dark fairytale vibes. 🌱 Red is the first Second Daughter born in centuries, she is destined to be sacrificed to the Wolf of the Wilderwood to save her kingdom. She is almost glad to go, because there is a power in her she can barely contain and she wants to keep others safe from her. She enters the forest to meet the Wolf, but the reality differs from the legends she heard. 🌿 With this blurb, I knew I'll be in for a treat! I'm almost finished with the book and I like it a lot! I'd recommend it to fans of Spinning Silver and Uprooted. ⚠️ Please note, the author provided a list of content warnings on her website, I'd suggest checking that out before diving in. ⚠️
