This book will break your heart, that's true and you should know it. But it's so beautiful and so very worth it. The writing style is amazing and the love between Achilles and Patroclus is so beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ญ I went to read this knowing their story and what happened on the Troyan War so I knew how the plot was going to go. And it was still amazing!!! I think this book is one of the most beautiful books I've ever read... even if it's one of the most heartbreaking too. I read it in my weird reading phase, where i didn't I wanted to read but at the same time i didn't. But i read this! Because it was wonderful and August and Jane!!?? Pls ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ Okay okay go back. For anyone that doesn't know what this books is about: August is always moving places. Starting one and other and other career... Until she gets to New York where she seems to find a really magical, weird and crazy family with an artist, a psychic, a millionaire kid that lost his trust fund and a drag queen. And in this big city, she gets a new crush on a woman that seems to always... ALWAYS be on the same train August takes to get to her college. There's magic, there's love, there's incredible incredible humor (the dialogues in this one... can't really explain it, it's necessary to live it first hand), found family, friendship and so much emotion. All with a super super magical vibe (i know I've used magic several times now but it's the best word i can find. MAGIC), also 70s vibes, music... And the love story... Jane and August are so cute. You can see they falling for each other. They have a big crush. BUT THEY THINK THE OTHER DOESN'T. So imagine the tension. The glances. Imagine them trying to not look so infatuated while trying to solve a mystery. Doing RESEARCH (for the ones that have read it, makes sounds unintelligible with me HDJSHSJSS) Anyways. Read it.
