@jhai__jhai____jimmy, @kuan_yu_twpk, @_anniepk_ and I doing sideflips over a gap. Huge well done to @_anniepk_ for pushing through, overcoming her fears and breaking this one. Great job to @jhai__jhai____jimmy too!

Move Island 2023 is my favourite move island so far. I had so much fun and it's great to see that everyone else had as much fun as me, no matter their level, age or experience.

I really enjoyed being part of the creation of this event with everyone at @frmparkour, it really feels gratifying seeing so many people enjoying themselves, playing, training, challenging themselves and just being happy. Well done everyone and get ready for next year!!

Here are some jumps and bits I've done recently at the Chainstore after finding out it's closing. Sad to see such a cool location close down, but also excited about what kind of gym we could have as an upgrade!

Quite happy with a lot of the challenges, some of them really took a lot of work. That precision to the little bar on the 5th and 6th slide may not look big, but it's so technically awkward, it took me a few weeks of coming back and trying it until I could commit to it directly. I also surprised myself with the catpass to plyo in the first slide, it took me nearly 4 hours to get on the last day I could train at the Chainstore before the teardown, it was a good amount of high impact training haha taken in Parkour Generations London by @sergapplemango

Shot a little parkour sequence for my friend's YouTube series @elsecreto_tv

Actually ended up shooting it twice, second time everything was the same except there was snow everywhere! It was fun trying to work it out, I've never really trained in snow before actually. The third clip is what we filmed the first time.

Just realised the last upload cut the end off the video😅

Some clips from training at the Chainstore on Monday. I've been focusing on getting my swings back over the last couple of months every time I went there. I managed to mess them up last year after learning giants, couldn't get the timing right and was scared to let go.

I've had a lot of trouble with the lache precision to the block recently, couldn't put enough swing in to actually reach it and then let go of the bar. Working on the swing 180s recently has really helped with getting the timing right, but it was still hard to commit to bigger lache precisions.

I saw @rickyjayrockfitness do the lache regrab to the slanted bar and decided to try it as well. Turned out to be surprisingly hard to hold on because of the slant! You couldn't see it in the video, I never managed to hang on without either my feet hitting the floor, or my left arm peeling off and then my feet hitting the floor anyway. I kept trying it until my callus tore, I'll get it next time!

Trying the regrab and putting so much power in and letting go somehow wasn't scary at all, and when I tried the precision I was actually surprised how easy it suddenly was. You can see on the second time I put in way more power than necessary and was actually startled. I tried it a bunch more times and it felt quite easy and not scary at all, so if you're scared of lache precisions, swinging to regrab is a great way to lose the fear.

I also tried the really high catpass over that concrete wall which you can see in the last clip, that was super interesting. I heard somebody did it to arm jump the black wall and that sounded ridiculous to me, and when I tried it at first I couldn't even catpass over it. But I kept trying and adjusted my technique so that I don't put my arms on the wall as soon as I get there, but jump first and wait till I'm at the peak of my jump, then push with my hands down as hard as I could, it worked surprisingly well. It felt like I floated up somehow, even in the video it doesn't look right to me, like I'm taking off a step up, but it's actually just the floor. I feel with a bit more speed/better timing I can make armjump too! by @sergapplemango
