Sharing my final design here for the FairyLoot edition of To Flame a Wild Flower. I think this one might have been my favourite to illustrate - zoom in to spot the little sprites!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to comment, like or share these artworks over the past few days. We love stories like Sarah’s because characters like Orlaith remind us of the strength of the human spirit - things like compassion, vulnerability, empathy. I’m so lucky this account has remained a safe and positive space, but overall I would definitely love to see these values reflected more so across the wider bookish social media space. Because at the end of the day, that’s why we’re here. On my end, I will continue to pour my blood, sweat and tears into my work - both because it means so much to me, and I know these stories mean so much to a lot of other people. Sending all my ❤️ to everyone x by @serif.and.somnia

I’m taking the wins where I can this week! My fiancé and I had another 2am night at hospital with our baby cat last night, but she does have a bit more energy today so thanking everyone again for sending us love (it helps, you can’t tell me it doesn’t). I am happy to share book two of my designs in the Crystal Bloom series by the lovely @sarah.a.parker.author 🌸 I would reiterate that I am proud of my work and the amount of care and overtime I put into these designs. Thank you so much to everyone who left me really lovely comments here and on Threads - they really got me through my exhaustion last night, and honestly, restored my faith in humanity a little bit. by @serif.and.somnia

Sending proof of life! I’ve been getting back into my calligraphy a fair bit of late… mostly with nibs and brush pens, however this is a digital piece I started back in January, inspired by the wonderful writing of @sheilareadsandwrites
Her book The Poison Daughter is fabulous - this is one of many quotes I had highlighted. I’m honestly still thinking about that twist at the end 💔✨ by @serif.and.somnia

Delighted to share a little snapshot of the branding I created for @authorvictoriawilder 💕 I absolutely adore Victoria’s stories; it was a dream to work with her!!

I had such a great time developing this one - everything from the art deco touches, the lettering, to the colour palette we landed on… it all came together really well 💕🖋️🖋️ by @serif.and.somnia

Little sneak peak of some omnibus artwork I created for @authorjennyhickman for her Myths of Airren series. We worked on this back in 2024 so I’m terribly excited to see it out and about in the world later this year! Full cover art coming this July! 🌿💕 by @serif.and.somnia

It’s been a really hard week for me, so words aren’t coming so easily right now (thank you to everyone who sent love my way yesterday) … all I can say about these is that I worked really hard on them, and I’m proud of them. The lettering is one of my favourite styles I’ve developed. And I adore Sarah’s stories, they’re so beautiful. @sarah.a.parker.author @fairyloot by @serif.and.somnia

Beautiful people. It feels like forever since I’ve been on here! I’ve been very busy at my desk chipping away at projects while Bambi naps beside me like a true professional. A lot of special editions have been designed. Branding has been crafted. Off Campus has been watched on repeat (seriously, I love the cast with my whole heart). Litres of nettle and oatstraw tea have been brewed.

More artwork to come soon(ish?), but today I’m excited to share the creative I worked on for the @fairyloot editions of the Stonegate duet by @authorljandrews ⚔️🖤I loved the characters (and the magic!!) in this story so much!! by @serif.and.somnia

So happy to share the dust jacket & edge I created of Slaying the Vampire Conqueror by @carissabroadbentbooks 🖤
I’ve been reading Carissa’s books since Daughter of No Worlds so it was such a pleasure to be able to create artwork for one of her beautiful stories. Many thanks @fairyloot for the opportunity to work on this! by @serif.and.somnia
