Serious bicycle…. Like contraptions
I built this rig up for a @racetoalaska boat out of Campbell River. These guys are gonna race the boat from port Townsend Wa to Ketchikan Ak in July. One of the only rules is no motors of any kind on the boat so we made this pedal powered outboard.
Hopefully the winds are favourable and they only need to use it to get in and out of port.
If they had to pedal all the way is that considered bike packing? by @seriousbicycles

This frame for @hotgluten really pushed the envelope of our post forward geometry understanding.
Standing 5’-1” (150cm) fit has always been a challenge for her.
Designed as a system, the complete bike will receive a custom handle bar coming after an on bike confirmation of fit to allow both a long front center and a quick steering front end.
This “MX” frame is built around a 430 axle to crown fork and sports an 80mm head tube with stainless reinforcements to allow for ultra low 542mm stack.
Other fun number to make your head scratch:
“Reach:” 476mm
Chainstays: 416mm
Headangle: 67 degrees
Seatangle: 75.8 degrees
BB Drop: 70mm
Frontcenter: 717mm
Wheelbase: 1127mm
