Just two girls who love to read and chat

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A bit of a reintroduction to start off the new year! We are Ally and Abbie. Best friends (for 20 years!), readers, and hilarious comedians (if you ask us).

We started this book account as a way to share what we love to do every day on FaceTime for literal hours… talk about books and give our opinions. We read a variety of books, love buying books, live for buddy reading, and truly feel lucky to have a hobby like this.

Happy to have you all here!!

Hi! We are Abbie and Ally - best friends who spend the majority of our daily FaceTimes discussing what we are reading. We wanted to have a place to share our thoughts, feelings, and emotions on all things books.

Follow along if:
- You enjoy fantasy, romance, historical fiction, mythology, sci fi and more
- You have cried over a fictional character more than once
- Someone has told you to “please put your kindle away”
- You’ve been personally victimized by Kristin Hannah
- You love honest, opinionated, reviews from unqualified experts
- You have no self control in a cute bookstore even with a growing TBR of a million books

We are looking forward to having another excuse to make books our personality and hope you are influenced too!

Until further notice: Please don’t talk to us because we are Seriously Overbooked 📚 by @seriouslyoverbooked

Here’s a breakdown of our rating scale for book reviews! Know that everything we share should never be taken too seriously and we have every right to change this scale based solely on vibes, our emotional state, how well we slept the night before, or if the sun is out. by @seriouslyoverbooked

Who wants to see an ugly WiFi router anyways!? This is your sign to thrift some books that match your house aesthetic and then rip them apart to create the cutest WiFi Cover!

I used a box cuter to remove the binding and cut the inner covers and then just hot glued them together!
