I’ve been receiving so much beautiful feedback about people having cathartic, healing experiences at the Yaima shows. Many have shared that they cried when I danced with the wings. 🪽

This touches my heart deeply and inspires me to keep dancing. It means everything that even one person can have a touching, healing moment through this work.

My intention is always to inspire and uplift others when I perform. For these shows, I mostly improvised the wing dances so I could stay open as a channel for whatever wanted to come through. Energetically, it felt like a dance between myself, Yaima’s angelic music, the divine, and the entire room of humans.

Thank you for being on this journey with me.

Here are some highlights from the past two days. I made it up to see the famous peak of the picos. Almost went for a better view but realized rain was coming in and I did not wish to be on almost vertical slippery rocks all the way down so I turned around for safety’s sake. I’m slowly making my way back to the airport, staying in quaint little villages and taking the locals’ advice on what to check out along my route. by @serpentfeathers

My kink is nettle spanking myself. Knees, neck, shoulders, back, anything that needs some extra blood flow LOVES the sparkling sting of this magic plant. 🌿✨

I was beyond stoked to find a giant patch of her after a long practically vertical hike today. 6 hours after, my knees are still tingling, and it feels great. by @serpentfeathers

I got real high today. Took a cable car up the mountain and had a little stroll in one of the most majestic landscapes I’ve ever seen. Saw some 6/7 ft soaring wingspans and got real jelly. I can only imagine soaring through those peaks. Life blew me away today. by @serpentfeathers

I can’t believe I almost backed out of coming up here because it was an extra 3 hours of driving each way. Not only were those 3 hours like driving through a perfect postcard, but once I was in the picos de Europas, I drove around another 3 hours just to let my jaw hang open on the steering wheel because it’s definitely one of the most insanely stunning places I’ve ever seen in my life. Moral of the story - do the crazy thing. by @serpentfeathers

Lil photo dump of my recent nature adventures. Of course I would find myself encountering a plethora of hawthorn friends. They’re everywhere out here. ❤️ which reminds me I should take some, because while this time has been extraordinarily enchanting, I admit I’ve felt quite lonely today. I kind of knew this would come upon me after such a rich week with so many wonderful people at the retreat, but I didn’t expect it to hit my chest so hard. Thank you to my buddies back home who got on the phone with me to help me not feel so alone out here in the wilds. by @serpentfeathers
