Seven years ago, I was ranked among the top parkour athletes in the world. That still feels surreal to say out loud. Especially considering I grew up in rural Indiana, learning parkour on my ownโ€”no gym, no training partners, just trial, error, and a lot of scraped shins.

When I found Swift Movement, everything shifted. I finally had a place where I could push myself safely and intentionallyโ€”rails I could adjust inch by inch, walls designed to test limits, and mats that helped me commit to bigger skills without fear. Just as important, I started training with people who challenged me and believed in me like @peveley
@ethanguzman.ae @gilkeyflows

I've always carried the belief that you can do anything you set your mind to. But what Iโ€™ve learned is that your environment matters. Who you train with, what tools you have access to, and how supported you feelโ€”all of that adds up. Swift made it possible for me to chase what once felt impossible.

If you're chasing a big goal right now, keep going. You're closer than you think. taken in Swift Movement Studio by @sethjumps

Excited to share this news. We've been planning and working on it for almost a year.

Sometimes you can't wait and it does feel like a now or never moment. So we're diving into the unknown. Selling our house, belongings, qutting my job, starting new personal businesses, and learning how to make all this work with a 1 year old and 2 dogs.

Hoping to be in The Hague by February to be able to experience a new culture, leave the Midwest, and check off a bucket list item.

Last weekend, ParkourScore was used at the USPK Nationals.

A big focus leading up to the event was supporting rank point scoring for both the new Combo format and Speed. Those formats introduce a lot of scoring complexity behind the scenes, and I spent a lot of time making sure rankings, points, and results were calculated correctly.

In this video, I walk through how those scoring systems work and why they were built that way.

The platform keeps getting better with every competition, and Nationals generated a huge amount of feedback that's already turning into improvements for future events.

โซ Today's update:
I've already started implementing fixes and improvements based on feedback from USPK Nationals, with plenty more still planned.

โ“ Question:
If you've competed or judged before, what scoring format do you think is the hardest to explain?

Past couple months haven't been easy, but excited to be walking again. Should get cleared to stop wearing the boot this week.

At the same time I'd say I've had a better mental state with this injury than anything previously. I think a big part of this is due my lifestyle and identity shift from athlete to business owner and parent.

Want to emphasize the importance of active recovery. So many people do the bare minimum, but high volume, low intensity makes a world of difference with recovering quickly.

Shout out to the Mobility fit Blue ash team

I was going to write a long caption explaining why this jump meant a lot to me, and maybe I'll share the story someday. But in short I'm really happy to check this one off the bucket list. Parkour isn't really my focus anymore, but I still love it when I can get out of my own head

Happy new year!

Thanks @iamwavezilla for filming and supporting
And to @cincy.jam for the hype and a moment to look forward to each year to benchmark myself taken in Cincinnati by @sethjumps

๐ŸŽฏ Target practice. Revisited a couple old #divehole challenges at the @swiftmovementstudio Halloween jam

Always love finding a good challenge that I know I can do but just need to trust the process and trust myself to commit

End of training block for this season. I set out to do a 50miler this year, but turns out training wasn't as easy as I thought it'd be with baby Miles. Did burning river trail marathon in July but wasn't happy with my performance because I hit a wall and walked 4-5 miles. Got redemption last Sunday completing my first 50k (31mi) ultramarathon at Stone Steps which had 5x the elevation of Burning River. With only about 20miles a week of training, and longest run since July being 12 miles, I was pretty unsure how it'd go. I had two goals first was to finish before the cut off. Second was to finish with having only really walked the up hills and easily did both

Overall just stoked with my first ultra marathon completion and am definitely looking forward to my other ultra endurance bucket list items
- full iron man triathlon
- 50 mile
-100 Mile

Recently I've talked to a few people about why. The thing I enjoy about taking on these challenges is that I don't know if I could complete it right now, and I know I have to evolve in order to become the person who is mentally tough enough to complete these taken in Cincinnati by @sethjumps
