4 years ago today I walked through the door @swiftmovementstudio that changed my life forever. Since I started training parkour I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet and train with amazing people from all around the world, and have even built a starter career out of it.

I’m so grateful that so many people have helped make made this journey an amazing experience that a younger version of myself could never have dreamed of embarking on. I look forward to continue to improve as an athlete and coach and I can’t wait to see what’s in store over the next 4 years!

2024 Indoors!!!🤩

Better late then never…it’s so hard to condense a year of footage and find a decent song😅😂

2024 was an incredible year, and all I want to say is how much I love all the people I got to spend it with. I’ve tagged a few but If at any point we shared a smile together this year then you’re one of them and I appreciate you beyond words. Keep your spirit💪🏼💜

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Miles Toban Ruji arrived 2/2/25 on Groundhog's Day, 6lbs 3oz. Everyone is doing great and we're so in love with our little bean. ❤

Staff sesh! Recently Nick, Seth, and Paul both played a game of addon, and came up with their own creative flow lines.

Which versions did you like best?

As movement coaches it's essential to continue to challenge yourself and continue to grow your own skills. This keeps coaching more fun, and gives you opportunities to pick up new skills

Round 2 Grit 👑

These are the faces of runners bracing the elements, giving it their all, and pouring themselves into their run. All for a shot to survive and advance.

Mother Nature replaced snow with rain showers. A few droplets and discomfort wasn’t enough to keep these runners indoors. Kudos to @daltonj800m @julesmadzia @sethjumps and Jacob Heinold for giving it their all this morning on the Around Ault Park segment.

Have you ever tried to braid people?

This lesson with @sethjumps focused on flip integration. Beginning with some silly challenges and reps of moves they already felt confident with. Seth prepared several 2 move flip combos that "feel good".
- Kong punch front
- flip, descent exit (lazy or Kong)
- side pop back
- gainer punch front

The key to this session is something Seth calls riding the dopamine wave. By switching between a variety of skills and progressions, athletes can often experience much more rapid development by swapping skills as soon as they start to hit a plateau. This is fantastic if your primary goal is to improve, but it doesn't matter what at. According to Steven kotler, the optimal difficulty for a challenge to achieve or maintain flow states is 4%

Let us know in the comments if you like this kind of breakdown and find it useful!

Come hang out with us new Year's Day from 4-7pm for a community jam!
