Two chefs. One harvest table. A dinner rooted in place.

We’re honored to welcome chefs Jason Stratton and Cam Mills to Glendale Farm’s Lamb Harvest Dinner on Saturday, October 10.

Jason helped establish Seattle’s Spinasse as an acclaimed destination for Piedmontese cooking and was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs in 2010. Cam Mills is a celebrated local chef building community around food, healing, and community wellness, , and Together, Jason and Cam will create a seasonal, family-style meal celebrating locally raised lamb, regional produce and Glendale apples.

The evening begins with seasonal appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by a shared multicourse dinner in the Historic Barn. Beverages will be designed and served by Bar Car, with cider donated by Finnriver Farm & Cidery.

Proceeds support Glendale Farm’s restoration and the infrastructure shared by its agricultural community.

Excited to be returning to Public Display Art Gallery as part of their newest group exhibition at ArtLove Salon in downtown Seattle.

The exhibition brings together work by a remarkable group of local artists, including Eli Kimaro, Monyee Chau, Aramis O. Hamer, Graham Franciose, Saina Heshmati, Shaun Doll, and others. Grateful to have my work included among them. (PublicDisplay.ART⁠)

Something a little wilder is coming to the historic barn at Glendale Farm.

CRAZIER DINNER! brings together experimental sound, live music, performance, queer culture, and the joy of the erotic for an evening of uninhibited creative expression on the farm.

We’re especially excited to welcome and celebrate our queer community — creating space for LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, friends, neighbors, and allies to gather in a rural agricultural setting that continues to grow as a home for art, culture, and community.

We love seeing this historic barn remain rooted in its agricultural past while becoming a place for new voices, cultural experimentation, joyful expression, and unexpected connection. Farms have always been gathering places. This one can also be strange, sexy, loud, playful, queer, and wonderfully alive.

We’re excited to welcome Michaela Brazington for a series of outdoor yoga gatherings bringing movement, breath, and connection into the landscape.

Michaela is a Washington-based yoga instructor, body worker, nervous system healer, and movement facilitator. She has traveled, taught, and learned across the globe and throughout the country. She is the founder of Alchemia for Humans, merging movement and emotional alchemy with a deep love of nature.

Over the years, some of my most important work hasn’t happened in a studio, but alongside communities navigating profound challenges, resilience, and care.

I’m deeply grateful for my time working with Lifelong AIDS Alliance, an organization that embodies what direct service can look like when compassion, dignity, and humanity are placed at the center. That experience reinforced a belief I carry into every aspect of my life: our greatest resource is not money or recognition, but the willingness to offer our time, energy, and presence in support of one another.

In a world that often rewards distance and individual achievement, I hope we continue to choose proximity, mutual aid, and collective care.

Thank you to Sarah Hurt and Seattle Art Source for consistently representing the best parts of me and for helping connect this work to broader communities. Your support has created opportunities for these conversations to continue far beyond gallery walls.

If you have the capacity, I encourage you to invest your gifts directly into your community. Volunteer. Show up. Share a skill. Listen. Care for your neighbors. Small acts of service have a way of becoming lasting structures of belonging.

For every polished moment, gallery opening, or framed artwork, there are countless unseen hours of grit, grime, labor, and care.

The real work is often unglamorous. It’s showing up when no one is watching. It’s tending to land, tending to community, and tending to one another.

I’ve learned that a meaningful life isn’t built on appearances—it’s built through service, persistence, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

I’ll always enjoy the opportunity to put on nice clothes and celebrate beautiful moments, but I’ll never forget that the work that matters most rarely looks glamorous.

Here’s to embracing both: the celebration and the stewardship.

Harvested the first sunflowers from the farm today!!! I absolutely LOVE how vibrant the color is on these beauties. The variety is Vincent’s Fresh and made harvestable flowers in only 72 days from seeding!!💛💛 These lovelies will be making their debut at the Farmstand tomorrow! @theglendalefarm @sethpsexton by @sethpsexton

We’re excited to announce that the new Glendale Farm roadside farm stand is officially open!

Made possible in part by the Port Townsend Food Co-op Farmer Fund @ptfoodcoop and the incredible help of local hero Jeremy Lakenes, who sourced and delivered the stand, this project expands retail opportunities for our diverse community of growers and makers.

You’ll find offerings from farm partners like DragonHeart Flowers & Events, featuring Laurie Mackenzie’s seasonal flowers, alongside fresh certified organic produce from Dharma Ridge Farms and other farm-grown goods throughout the season.

More than a place to pick up flowers and vegetables, this stand reflects our commitment to strengthening local food systems, supporting small producers, and making healthy, locally grown food more accessible.
