Pearl Street in Buffalo is broken apart to provide utility upgrades for the Saturn Building. As the building is changed from solely light commercial to mixed use (and a grocery store at that), new electrical connections and a vault are needed to support that. by @sethtriggs

What a difference a rew days makes at 147 West Tupper in Buffalo. The gabled roof is well proceeding on the southern side, and the northern building is ready for its fourth floor.

147 West Tupper also features some nice ground floor arches befitting the architectural vernacular of the area. by @sethtriggs

Taking a cruise in Buffalo Harbor gives you a great perspective of the exciting construction at Canalside. The westernmost Heritage Point building has reached its fourth floor, and steel is rapidly going up for the northernmost Marine Drive development.

But you still need to be on land to see the initial construction of the North Aud Block. Foundation work is proceeding well. by @sethtriggs

Time for crane work at the Shea's Buffalo expansion as forms are put in place to begin the structure. Seats can be seen in the concrete foundation that will support girders. by @sethtriggs

147 West Tupper in Buffalo actually features rounded corners here and there. Quite unusual on new builds and a nod to those sorts of features like on the former brick "taxpayer" on the site. by @sethtriggs

Progress at Canalside as more foundation work continues for the North Aud Block. Heritage Point is progressing well as the fourth floor engineered wood trusses go up on the western building. The eastern building is ready for exterior work. And the steel frame of Marine Drive Phase I climbs high, ultimately tall enough to exceed that of the neighboring Skyway. by @sethtriggs

Progress on a trio of exciting projects in downtown Buffalo. The new penthouses of the Saturn Building are framed as internal demo continues. 147 West Tupper is ready to have its fourth story constructed, with packages of engineered wood trusses ready. And the New Phoenix Theater building on Johnson Park is getting an interesting luxury apartment conversion. by @sethtriggs

Concrete hoppers are in place for the next pours at the Shea's expansion in Buffalo. It may be time for structural work. Meanwhile, just up the block a new package of drywall is delivered to the Saturn Building for interior work. by @sethtriggs

With the roof repairs, the penthouse of Buffalo's Saturn Building has been replaced entirely. Workers are building up more rooftop structures. This exciting mixed-use project is an adaptive reuse that brings a food store downtown again in the ground-floor space. by @sethtriggs

The new Marine Drive Phase I tower is coming along nicely, with its beefy steel structure. Along Marine Drive proper, concrete foundation is established for more buildings on the site. And under the Buffalo Skyway, urban prairie grows in land made unusable by highway construction. by @sethtriggs

More metal studs can be seen inside Buffalo's Saturn Building. Debris chutes are still up as critical interior cleaning continues. On the ground floor, storefront windows are now possible again after having been sealed up for years. by @sethtriggs
