Brilliant weekend for our Belfast Wolves coaches getting the chance to learn from Alan Knipe and Tim Johnson at the @officialnivolleyball Coaches Convention

Alan brought so much experience from his time coaching at Long Beach State and with USA Volleyball, while Tim knows Northern Ireland volleyball really well having previously coached our national teams.

A great opportunity for our coaches to pick up new ideas, ask questions and learn from two coaches with a huge amount of experience.

Many thanks to Northern Ireland Volleyball for organising the weekend, and to Ulster University for hosting and giving our coaches and players the opportunity to learn from Alan and Tim.

Really appreciate all the time, knowledge and insight they shared with everyone over the weekend

"Colleges That Change Lives" names 44 small liberal arts colleges built around the idea that fit matters more than rank. NCAA D3 men's volleyball is a sport that keeps adding programs (145 and counting!), sometimes several a year.
Line the two up and six schools show up on both:
Juniata (Landmark Conference), Bard (Conference of New England), Hiram (Presidents' Athletic Conference), University of Lynchburg (Old Dominion Athletic Conference), Wabash (Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League), and the newest one, University of Redlands, which just announced varsity volleyball starting in 2027-28.
Redlands will join Cal Lutheran as the other SCIAC schools sponsoring men's volleyball once its program starts.
Six out of 44 isn't a big number, but if you're looking for a college that cares about more than the transcript and still fields a varsity sport most high schools never offered, don’t overlook these D3 programs.
