October 2–3, Concordia is celebrating 50 years — and CUI Men’s Volleyball is calling the alumni back home. 💚💛
The matches end. The seasons change. The guys you played with? That part sticks.

So let’s run it back.
MVB ALUMNI 👇
Drop your year + number and tag the teammate who better be there with you.
And while you’re at it… what CUI team would win an all-era tournament? 👀

Brilliant weekend for our Belfast Wolves coaches getting the chance to learn from Alan Knipe and Tim Johnson at the @officialnivolleyball Coaches Convention

Alan brought so much experience from his time coaching at Long Beach State and with USA Volleyball, while Tim knows Northern Ireland volleyball really well having previously coached our national teams.

A great opportunity for our coaches to pick up new ideas, ask questions and learn from two coaches with a huge amount of experience.

Many thanks to Northern Ireland Volleyball for organising the weekend, and to Ulster University for hosting and giving our coaches and players the opportunity to learn from Alan and Tim.

Really appreciate all the time, knowledge and insight they shared with everyone over the weekend

Always learning. Always trying to get better. 🐺🏐

GRATITUDE 🙏🏐 Is an action word!!!

As I reflect on my time at TCU and being back in my wonderful home state of Texas, GRATITUDE is the word that comes to mind.

Coach Williams and his staff are extremely passionate about volleyball and, more importantly, about being ELITE. What stood out to me most is that they care deeply about modeling and developing the person playing volleyball, not just the volleyball player.

This week reminded me that coaching is about so much more than the X’s and O’s. We have a responsibility to help this generation grow, mature, compete, lead, and become better people.

The difference between great and elite is found in the details—but true greatness is measured by the people we help develop along the way.

Thank you, Coach Williams, your staff, and the TCU volleyball family for welcoming me in and for the simple reminder of what coaching is really about.

Grateful for the opportunity. Grateful for Texas. Grateful for the journey.

Grateful for the opportunity to work with TCU Volleyball and EVS Consulting. 🏐

There’s a difference between great and elite.

Great teams work hard when it’s expected.
Elite teams raise the standard every single day.

Great teams compete.
Elite teams compete with purpose, urgency, and unbelievable competitiveness.

Great teams want to win.
Elite teams are committed to doing everything it takes to become champions.

What makes TCU special is their willingness to chase that next level. They aren’t satisfied with being great—they are striving to become ELITE.

I’m grateful to be a small part of that process and to work alongside a program that understands: the standard is the standard, and excellence is a daily choice.

Keep pushing. Keep competing. Keep raising the bar.

EVS Consulting × TCU Volleyball
Great is the goal. ELITE is the standard. 🐸🏆 What a special group to be apart of! Dream in Gold

"Colleges That Change Lives" names 44 small liberal arts colleges built around the idea that fit matters more than rank. NCAA D3 men's volleyball is a sport that keeps adding programs (145 and counting!), sometimes several a year.
Line the two up and six schools show up on both:
Juniata (Landmark Conference), Bard (Conference of New England), Hiram (Presidents' Athletic Conference), University of Lynchburg (Old Dominion Athletic Conference), Wabash (Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League), and the newest one, University of Redlands, which just announced varsity volleyball starting in 2027-28.
Redlands will join Cal Lutheran as the other SCIAC schools sponsoring men's volleyball once its program starts.
Six out of 44 isn't a big number, but if you're looking for a college that cares about more than the transcript and still fields a varsity sport most high schools never offered, don’t overlook these D3 programs.

As I’ve got to know this group better this is the question?
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A CHAMPION? 🏆

Discipline. Sacrifice. Accountability. Consistency.

Champions don’t lower the standard when things get hard—they raise it.

They compete every day, embrace adversity, put the team first, and make everyone around them better.

Trying to be a champion is a goal.
Being a champion is a lifestyle.

🏆 The standard is the identity

A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY AT TCU 🐸🏐

What makes being part of TCU Women’s Volleyball so special is the fast tempo, high energy, and unbelievable competitiveness that Jason Williams brings to the gym.

Every contact matters. Every drill has purpose. Every player is pushed to compete, improve, and raise the level of everyone around them. That kind of environment creates growth—and it’s exactly what EVS is all about.

For EVS and Riley Salmon, it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a program that demands excellence and embraces competition every single day.

Fast tempo. Unbelievable competitiveness. Relentless pursuit of improvement.

We’re excited to be a part of it. 🐸🏐
