I imagined trays of pastries coming through these doors. So far, it’s a very heavy safe going out. 🤣

BUILDING SEVYN — EP. 05: NOW IT HAS A NAME 🤎

For months, I could see Sevyn even when everyone else just saw a little blue shop with two doors.

This week, the sign finally went up.

And watching people walk past, look up, slow down and read the name made something shift.

It’s no longer just an idea behind closed doors. The neighbourhood is starting to see it too.

We’re still building, still covered in dust, and there’s plenty left to do — but little by little, Sevyn is becoming part of Highams Park.

And we haven’t even opened the doors yet. 🥹🤎

Seven things we think you’re going to love about SEVYN. 🤍

A garden made for slow mornings, pastries fresh from the oven, proper coffee, really good food and a space you can actually settle into.

Come for breakfast, bring your laptop for a couple of hours, meet a friend for lunch, sit outside with a coffee — or just come and watch what’s coming out of the oven that day.

We’re building the kind of neighbourhood bakery we’d want on our own doorstep.

It’s starting to feel real now.

The builders are in, the plans are coming off the page, and little by little SEVYN is becoming part of Highams Park.

Soon this won’t just be a shopfront we keep walking past — there’ll be coffee being poured, pastries coming out of the oven, people popping in for lunch and hopefully plenty of familiar faces becoming regulars.
