Surprise surprise I'm back again with yet another #arthurpants and #sourdoughtop outfit 😂

I say this every time I make a new pair, but I think this actually might be my favorite pair yet

Also, I promise I have tried other pants patterns, there is just something about the Arthur pants by @sewliberated that work so well for my body and I just keep coming back to them

I made a size 12, the size chart puts me at 16 but I've found 2 sizes down to be perfect for me. I personally don't need to adjust the rise at all because I have a longer torso and I'm about 5'9". I also make the pockets significantly bigger because I found the original pattern piece to be too small for holding all the things

The top was made by Carly @sewnly_fans I have gotten so much use out of it and I'm so happy I was able to snag it from her!

I used my dream linen from @fluidplusdrape
It is the Luminous Linen Stripe in the color Tajín, coming today! 👀 by @sewariasew

Feelin cute 🍓

I was heavily inspired by my forever muse @whatabbeywore but then I saw a RTW version that I just couldn't get out of my head and knew I had to recreate the look.

Abbey has a really wonderful tutorial that I mostly followed with the exception of the front bodice and the shirring lines. For the front bodice I traced a vneck vest to achieve the shape and used bias binding to finish the edges/attach the ties.

This is @fluidplusdrape 's "Juicy" block print - in the colorway that was named after me!

Bethany was showing me some mockups of her strawberry designs and they were all super bright and cool colored so I asked if she would make something for us fall peeps. We went back and forth and came up with this lovely pistachio and peach combination. I'm honored that this was the first colorway to sell out! But don't worry - it will be restocked ASAP 🙌

And finally, the best part of this dress in my opinion is that it is fully reversible! I really can't decide which way I like best, what's your favorite?

Introducing the #fsgardendress by @fruxstudio

The Garden dress is a relaxed fitting dress, that features front and back pin tucks and side ties. The pattern is considered an advanced pattern but I don't think anything in the pattern was overly technical, with enough focus and time set aside to really concentrate on the pintucks, I think it would be manageable for most sewists.

I made Option C, the crewneck dress without sleeves in a size 10. I omitted the button loop closure and added ties instead.

The linen is from the Love & Linen Collection by @fluidplusdrape in the color pistachio. I truly cant get over how beautiful and vibrant the color is. It is a mid-weight linen and was a dream to work with!

I highly recommend this pattern (and this fabric). It is such a satisfying and rewarding project! by @sewariasew

Another day another circus fit 🎪🤡

Helped Bethany @fluidplusdrape pick the most recent batch of Japanese fabrics and I absolutely fell in love with these faux feedsack panels!

Pants are self drafted, I just used the width of the fabric folded in half and added a front/back crotch curve. I had the perfect thrifted stripe fabric in my stash to add a 4" ruffle at the bottom. So easy/fun and I was able to get them done with just two panels of fabric!

These tops have been a major hit at all my markets and bring a lot of joy! I haven't been able to decide which one to keep for myself but this little dog spoke to me. I'm working on my next big batch, they can be found @the.vintage.industry ! by @sewariasew

I've been seeing this #mirotop & #arthurpants combo all over the IG and decided I needed to try it out too!

I have a really hard time wearing any type of "blouse" but love a wrap top and this looked like one that I might actually wear.

I made the Miro top by @suechinglascelles in a size large and decided not to lengthen it even though it's drafted for 5'3" because I prefer my tops shorter. I omitted the sleeve cuffs and instead lengthened the sleeves by 2". I also decided to skip the side slits and made a 1" opening on each side for the ties.

Arthur pants by @sewliberated are straight size 12 (two sizes down from where the size chart puts me)

Both were made with the newest sandwashed Midweight linen from @fluidplusdrape It feels so buttery & luxurious and is going to be my new go to linen for everything!

Colors are Plum & Mahogany by @sewariasew

The Gibbons Slip dress by @elbe_textiles

This is my first bias cut dress and the style is definitely a bit out of my comfort zone. I don't typically wear fitted dresses (actually dresses at all) but I love this silhouette and wanted to give it a try.

I made a size F in the c/d range. I ended up adding the back darts after the fact to remove some of the excess material in the back. I also raised the shoulders an inch because the V was a bit too deep for me.

I'm excited to play around and figure out different ways to style it.

Adelphi x Henrietta

I just absolutely love this combination! I feel like the patterns compliment each other so well.

I made the Adelphi top by @sa_sews in a size 14. Like my other Adelphi tops, I used larger back panels for more coverage in the back - this time I used the size 20.

The Henrietta skirt by @spaghetti_western_sewing
is an S and approximately 34" long

I used a crispy sandwashed poplin for the skirt and the newest brushed bull denim in color snap pea from @fluidplusdrape

I'm definitely going to sew a black poplin Henrietta next since this brown one has already gotten a ton of wear 🤎

Arthur × Helios mash-up in my new favorite color combo 🥒🖤

Wow, I love these pants. They are everything I want in a pant: a little sporty, a little funky but still totally wearable.

I made my go to size 12 in the Arthur pants by @sewliberated , but used the Helios Trouser waistband instructions to add the toggles.

I kept the Arthur waistband pattern piece, but widened it to 5" so that, once folded and attached, it would be approximately the same width as the Helios waistband.

They’re made from lightweight washed cotton poplin from @fluidplusdrape in the color Green Tea. For a poplin, it’s surprisingly soft and much less swishy than other poplins I’ve used!

I went with slightly darker topstitching so it stands out just enough without being too noticeable.

I will absolutely be adding more of these toggle waistbands to future Arthurs!

Got the inspo from @stone__soup who has made some of the coolest Arthurs out there by @sewariasew
