I am not liking the new Instagram update - hope I can get used to it … wish they would not do this. Anyone liking the change? In the meantime , I made a yummy plum coffee cake ( you could use any fruit). by @sewingdaydesigns

March is colonoscopy month. No one wants to do this, but last year I had malignant stage 1 colon cancer. I had no symptoms and there were a few months of shock as well as being frightened of what was ahead. A long story made short, is after surgery and a pathology report I am cancer free. No chemo etc and I’ll be closely monitored, but I am grateful for each day. I hope someone reads this and gets a colonoscopy. Don’t put it off! A lovely quilter @seams_sew_me (Belle) had a great pillow I used and anyone needing a pillow like this, should contact her. I debated about sharing my story but I can’t stress the importance of a colonoscopy and it could save your life. 🌷🌷🥰 by @sewingdaydesigns

Here in Sonoma County it is not uncommon to see these guys walking around town. They really are sooo pretty when their wings are spread out. This guy didn’t like his picture taken and truly began to chase me and fast too - I barely got into my car! He or she must have been the “tough “ one in the group 🤣 by @sewingdaydesigns

A yummy “Dutch Baby” made with the help of one of my granddaughters. These are also called German pancakes. Whatever you call them , they’re delicious, easy to make and great with any fruit. Peaches would be yummy too - what would you out on it? by @sewingdaydesigns

Purchased this at Marin County’s French Vintage Market last weekend. I love this and blue and white is a favorite color combo of mine. Not sure if this is truly vintage but it’s in pretty bad shape. The binding is terrible as well as the corners. Looking forward to cleaning it up and putting new binding and backing on it.
