This recent wonderful warm weather had made me think of dressing up the garden for Summer time. I’ve created 7 different designs , all garden and tea related which would look lovely added to garden pillows, made into little flags to fly in the flower beds , or a lovely string of bunting to hang from the eaves of the shed or summer house! So ….on what’s probably the hottest day in July I’m showing you … A Christmas Stocking !!!!! My good friend Suzie @loveofhyggeliving and @thefloralquilter suggested a larger Nordic style stocking that would be suitable to accommodate larger Christmas gifts and this is the happy result of our collaboration ! The kit is available to order via direct message either to myself or Suzie and it’s £38 plus postage. The stocking is approximately 18 and a half inches long and 8 inches wide at the top. The patterns are hand drawn on to vintage French linen and although you can stitch it any way that pleases you, a stitch guide, instructions, needles, thread, photos, silk hanging ribbon and lining fabric are enclosed in the set. You can also request a linen label to embroider with your loved one’s name.
