@madeformermaids has done it again! Another bangin pattern for your workout needs 👏🏾👏🏾.

I was in the testing group for this pattern (sold bundled or separately) and looovvvee the coverage Emmy provides on the sides.

I don’t really care about my back rolls but it is annoying when sports bras get eaten by them 😂😂.

Finished up another pattern test for @patternsforpirates called the June Bug Boxer shorts.

Specs:

➡️ Drafted for wovens
➡️Elastic waist (drawstring option)
➡️Youth & Adult sizing
➡️Two inseam lengths:
Adult- 2.5” & 5” inseam
Youth- 2” 4” inseam
Faux fly/no fly, faux button fly
➡️Different Hems
Ruffle hem
Faux cuff hem
Contrast faux hem

I’ve got 30” thighs and this has thigh “spread” room without feeling restricted.

I’ve already made two outfits with June Bug that I’ll share but I also plan to use them as Summer pj bottom.

This month’s promo fabric I chose from @landefabrics is the 4x2 Ribknit.

I LOVE the way 4x2 rib knits look. I especially like that this rib knit is flat on the “wrong” side so there’s zero confusion.

I’m also envisioning either a mock neck tank dress or a two piece set for these rib knits.

But I also need a new duster style cardigan 🧐🤔. Choices, choices! 😝

Be on the look out for what I decide on.

Also, how about my nails thoooooo??!! 🤩🤩 I’m loving this cat eye polish.

@georgeandgingerpatternco Released a new collection of patterns this week and I was in the testing group.

Another pair of shorts done; my favorite shorts pattern is the Linden Shorts by @sewalittleseam. This pattern is packed with options and an expansion pack for installing a zipper.

Also, @nomuratailor is quickly becoming my favorite online sewing shop for lighter weight cotton twill and Japanese Fabrics 👏🏾👏🏾.

New pattern I tested for @georgeandgingerpatternco and it’s a super comfy set. ☺️

The Unwind set is best used with a lighter weight knit (jersey or bamboo).

Y2K Flares from @patternsforpirates dropped yesterday. I real like the fit of these; fabric choice makes a world of difference so make sure your fabric has the right recovery to keep its shape.

Sizing: youth (waist:21-28”/ hip: 21-34) & adult (up to 57” waist/ 64” hip)
Specs: 3 waistbands and inseams

I used nylon athletic knit from @gkfashionfabrics for this entire set; it kept its shaped and wicked away moisture. I would stick to the darker colors as I ordered some onions and they definitely require a lining.

So happy with these! I used @sasha__starlight Side Tie Dungarees for the base; this is my first toile and it’s love! I bought this pattern years ago and forgot about.

Now that I know the fit is good I can start experimenting.

I promise I’m not turning into a fitness influencer 🤣; I’ve just been investing in getting stronger by lifting weights.

I got compliments on my outfits at the gym last week! (it took all my strength not to blurt out that I made them myself 🫠😝)

Things I’ve noticed since going to the gym:

My back muscles developing
My booty is lifting! 👏🏾👏🏾
My digestive system is more regulated
My fibromyalgia is more manageable during flare ups
My low back pain is more manageable
My mood is more stable

And most importantly I’m doing something for MYSELF 🙌🏾.
