Alright. Long post ahead.

SPARTAN RACE 2026 LA UNION

Feb 2026 when I first encountered Obstacle Course Racing (OCR). It was April 2026 when I first met coach @unfilteredjabs because of a Holy Week CrossFit WOD at @enderuncrossfit I joined @fits.bump OCR Community, and trained with that beautiful, tight-knit community every Saturdays. Salamat coach @nicojr for pushing us during our trainings. Iba ang alagang Coach Nico.

And here we are. My first Spartan Race. Super kaagad. Pushed through even with shoulder discomfort, finished with 3 episodes of cramps (i didn't know you can experience hamstring cramps) Stats are not bad, I guess. I know my baseline now, and I know I can do better on the next race.

Shoutout to my wife @aalimbukad , who convinced me to do CrossFit, for patiently preparing me before the race, patiently waiting during the race, and patiently booking post-comp pampering after the race. I love you always.

To @crossfitmarikina the CrossFit classes helped me a lot! Thank you for scaling some of the WODs dahil sa shoulder injury ko.

To my 15 year old self, take it easy. You won't believe it, but we'll get there.

For a first time Spartan Race participant, stats are not bad, I guess.

Thank you @aalimbukad for cheering, waiting for me during the race. Bumibo ako nung nakita kita sa shore.

Again, 10 years ago would he mind-blown.

Ito na muna, ill make another reel pag lumabas ng official photos.
