A big congratulations to longtime DCYF grantee Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.), named Nonprofit of the Year at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's 2026 Excellence in Business Awards (EBBIES) earlier this week!

Since 1994, R.O.C.K. has been making a difference in the lives of children and youth in Visitacion Valley. Through school-based support, sports and fitness, outdoor adventures, and leadership development, R.O.C.K. creates opportunities for young people to discover new interests, build confidence, develop friendships, and reach their full potential.

R.O.C.K. has been a source of stability, encouragement, and connection for generations of young people, helping ensure that children have access to meaningful experiences and supportive relationships regardless of their circumstances.

We're proud to support R.O.C.K.'s work and celebrate this well-deserved recognition! Partnerships with organizations like R.O.C.K. are essential to making San Francisco a great place to grow up.
