Forget the Peter Pan you know because this trip to Neverland is going hilariously off the rails! Peter Pan Goes Wrong follows a fictional drama society attempting to stage the classic story while scenery misbehaves, actors forget lines and technical disasters pile up around them. Director Susi Damilano joins us to share how she brings this carefully choreographed chaos to life for its Bay Area premiere. Sometimes the best night at the theatre is when everything goes wrong! 🎭✨

October is officially here, and the Bay Area stages are packed with plenty to add to your fall calendar! Some of our top picks for the month are...

💛 For the Gala-Goer Who Wants to Give Back: George Mark Children’s House’s An Evening of Love & Lyrics | Oct. 2 - An evening at the @fssanfrancisco supporting George Mark Children’s House, the first freestanding pediatric palliative care and hospice home in the U.S. Broadway star Miguel Cervantes joins families for special musical performances and a celebration of the organization’s mission.

🎶 For the Playlist Pro: @mountainwinery | All October
One last month of concerts under the stars in Saratoga! The Mountain Winery closes out its season with Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, Air Supply, Foreigner, and VIP experiences to make a full night of it.

🥂 For the Romantic: @sfopera’s Manon | Oct. 15–Nov. 1 - Real-life couple @amina_edris and @pene.pati return to San Francisco to star opposite each other in a story of love versus luxury. And the experience extends beyond the stage with pop-up shops, an interactive gambling den, and Parisian-inspired photo moments throughout the Opera House.

💃 For the Dance Fan: @odcsf’s Unplugged | Oct. 29 - Go behind the scenes at ODC Dance Commons for an intimate look at how new work comes together. See works in progress, hear directly from the artists, and get a first look at Infinite Scroll, featuring a new music commission by Grammy-winning composer Mason Bates.

😂 For the Theater Fan Who Loves Comedy: @sfplayhouse’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong | Through Nov. 28 - Peter Pan takes flight…or at least tries to. The world’s most accident-prone theatre troupe attempts the classic story while sets malfunction, props rebel, flying goes very wrong, and the cast somehow keeps the show moving through precisely choreographed chaos.

👆 And this is only the beginning! Discover even more of our October Top Picks and what’s happening on stages across the Bay Area at RedCurtainAddict.com. We look forward to seeing you in the audience! by @sfplayhouse
