What happens when Peter Pan takes flight and EVERYTHING goes wrong?! 😂

We recently welcomed Susi Damilano, co-founder and Producing Director of San Francisco Playhouse, to KRON4’s Live in the Bay for our Red Curtain Addict arts segment to share what makes this production such a fun night at the theater and why it’s a must-see this season!

In these times, when political debates seem to need a preschool teacher rather than a passive moderator, and conversations often circle back to weighing the merits of robots that might also end humanity, “Peter Pan Goes Wrong,” now at @sfplayhouse might just be the right medicine.

This play within a play, directed by Susi Damilano, skillfully draws out the laughter from the very first scene and just keeps getting better.

Forget the Peter Pan you know because this trip to Neverland is going hilariously off the rails! Peter Pan Goes Wrong follows a fictional drama society attempting to stage the classic story while scenery misbehaves, actors forget lines and technical disasters pile up around them. Director Susi Damilano joins us to share how she brings this carefully choreographed chaos to life for its Bay Area premiere. Sometimes the best night at the theatre is when everything goes wrong! 🎭✨

Fall into some of the best performances across the Bay Area this October! 🍂

We did the digging so you don’t have to. From a Broadway comedy that completely falls apart (on purpose) and a real-life couple taking on one of opera’s great love stories, to getting inside the rehearsal room with the dancers and concerts under the stars, October has a lot going on.

We narrowed it down to 10 of our Top Picks and, trust us, there are a few you might not have found on your own. 👀 Find out more via our bio link!

Consider this your insider’s guide to what’s happening across the Bay Area arts scene this month.

Which one are you going to?
