🗳️California’s 2026 Ballot Propositions: Let’s Break Them Down!

Election Day is November 3, 2026, and California voters have several statewide propositions to consider! But what exactly do these measures propose, and what does voting YES or NO mean?

We’ve put together a voter education guide to help break down the propositions, explain what they would change, and outline what each vote means.

👉 Swipe through to explore California’s ballot propositions!

📅 IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
* October 5: Mail-in ballots begin going out.
* October 19: Online voter registration deadline.
* November 3: Election Day! Polls close at 8 PM.

📖 Want to learn more? Check out the California Secretary of State’s Official Voter Information Guide for additional information about the ballot measures:

💬 Have questions about any of the propositions? Drop them in the comments!

📌 Save this post for later and share it with someone who wants to learn more about what’s on the ballot!

This post is intended for voter education and does not endorse a YES or NO vote on any proposition.

The San Francisco Young Democrats agree: vote Yes on Prop C.

@sfyoungdems Co-President Andrea Gallardo joined me to share her perspective on why it’s important for to vote Yes on Prop C.

Prop C will increase the City’s investment in our Housing Trust Fund from $50M a year to $125M a year to construct, preserve, and acquire more permanently affordable apartments to be rented to San Franciscans.

Prop C will help today’s young people can stay, grow, and thrive in SF across generations.

Vote Yes on Prop C by Nov. 3rd! taken in San Francisco, California by @sfyoungdems

Getting through the year, and we’ve been busy. ❤️💙

From building out our Student Chapter program and bringing new young Democrats into the movement, to packed membership meetings and organizing for better public transit, SFYD has been showing up all across San Francisco.

We’ve organized, advocated, learned, celebrated, and most importantly built community along the way.

Swipe through for a look at some of the moments that have made this second half so special. 📸 (so farrr)

And this is only the beginning. 👀

Proud to have the endorsement of the San Francisco Young Democrats!

As a former Young Dem and the founder of the Black Young Dems, this one means a lot to me. I know firsthand how important it is to create spaces where young people can find their voice, get involved, and become the next generation of leaders.
