We are so excited to introduce your 26-27 SGO board!

Starting with the Student government representatives!! ❤️🖤🦁😎

Hi! My name is Talia and I’m going to be your SGO president this year! I’m a senior vocal major and a fun fact is I have two older sisters, neither of whom went to LaG. I’m on two LaGuardia sports teams, softball and basketball. I’m really excited to plan events, fundraisers, and help the school thrive. Can’t wait to start this school year! ☺️

Hey LaG! My name is Zara, and I’m your SGO Vice President! I’m a senior vocal major and I’m so excited for this year! I play a lot of guitar and pickleball, and my favorite show is New Girl. I can’t wait to help make the 26-27 school year as awesome as possible! Looking forward to a great year! 😇

Hi! My name is Noemie, and I’m super excited to be your next SGO secretary! I’m a junior drama major, and I love being around such an incredibly talented group of artists daily here at LaGuardia. A fun fact about me is that I played tennis for 6 years before entering the performing arts world, which taught me a lot about discipline and how to stay focused even when things get busy. I am looking forward to creating Yellow Sheet recaps (which you will see here), introducing new ideas to SGO, and delivering information to the student body as quickly and detailed as possible! Can’t wait for this year! 🤍

Hi! I’m Lana, and I’m so excited to be your club liaison this year, can’t wait to see everything clubs have in store!

Hi! I’m Charlotte! My role in SGO is Events Liaison. A fun fact about me is that I LOVE to travel. I’m excited to contribute to SGO and LaG by bringing so many fun, accessible, and convenient events to our school community! I can’t wait for this school year!! See you all soon 😊

Hi! I’m Gabe and I’m so excited to be this year’s Sports Rep! A fun fact about me is that I love hiking. I can’t wait to represent LaG athletics 🦁

Hello! I’m Juniper, a senior art major serving as your environmental advocate for this school year. Super stoked to work on initiatives that make our school more sustainable for all! ♻️🌱

Next up, the grade representatives ❤️🖤 🦁🔥

Hi guys! My name is Niko and I am your senior class president this year. I love to write music, jump into photobooths with my friends, and am an avid poppi lover. I can’t wait to spend one last year with you all, lets make it count :)

Hello everyone!! My name is Vanessa and I’ll be filling the role of senior class vice-president. A fun fact about me is that recently I’ve picked up biking! 🚲 I’m so excited to charge into my last year with energy!! Catch me in the hallways and don’t be shy to say hi!!

Hii!! My name is Julia and I’m so hype to be your Junior Representative!! I’m a vocal major and love to sing musical theatre!! I’m so excited to represent you and your ideas! 🦁🦁

Hey artists! I’m Lola, a Sophomore Drama Major, and I am SO overjoyed to be your 26-27 Underclassmen Rep! I’m looking forward to empowering underclassmen voices, and providing opportunities/information that will prepare students for their artistic path ahead at LaGuardia. A fun fact about me is that I LOVE going to concerts and drinking tea 🫖 Great year ahead, yay! by @sgolag

We can’t wait to plan super fun activities, spirit days, and help the majors run smoothly!

Finally, the major representatives ❤️🖤🦁‼️

Hi! My name is Zadia, and I’m proud to be this year’s Vocal Representative. A fun fact about me is that the first role I ever performed was a billy goat. I’m so thrilled to be a part of SGO and super excited to connect & work with all of the vocal students!

Hey Drama Majors! My name is Leah, and I’m absolutely ecstatic to represent our department this school year! As a senior Drama major, I’ll be advocating for more opportunities within our department and most importantly, being a voice for all Drama majors. I love performing, playing flag football, and getting to know new people! Don’t be afraid to DM, email, or shout me out in the hallways with any questions!🎭

Hi! I’m Vester. My role in SGO is Instrumental Rep. A fun fact about me is that apart from playing the sax I like plant pressing to preserve plants from across the world. I’m excited to make all the instrumental shows the best through campaigning every show to the max. Also, I’m very excited to implement a peer tutoring system in the instrumental department. Can’t wait!

Hey dancers! My name is Valentina and I’m so excited to have been chosen as your 2026-27 Dance Rep! A fun fact about me is that I’ve been in now three All-School Musicals, and this year will be Dance Captian for Guys & Dolls! I’m invested in building more exposer through social media for our department, having more performances, and hosting more fundraisers to build our funds. I’m so excited for everything that’s to come this school year, and I can’t wait to make it an amazing one with all of you! 🩰🦁

Hey everyone! I’m Nicole and I’m really hyped to be representing TECH my senior year! I love the ocean and swimming (shoutout @laguardiagirlsvarsityswim 😉) My fav rehearsal snack is probably popcorn with a crisp Dr. Pepper🤌 Find me between classes or in rehearsal!

A quick clarification about the club approval process at LaGuardia:

Student clubs are established through a structured process that includes submitting a proposal and securing an approved staff advisor who is willing and available to support the club.

While students are absolutely encouraged to share their ideas, advocate for their interests, and build support within our school community, petitions, signatures, protests, or social-media attention are not what determine whether a club receives official status.

Club approval is based on meeting the established requirements and having the necessary staff support in place. This process helps us ensure that clubs are supported appropriately and that expectations are applied consistently across our school community.

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping us maintain a transparent and equitable process for student activities. by @sgolag
