Don’t worry about leaving an empty display easel. We WANT you to see the books on display—books that you might not look for—and we WANT you to check them out. Bring the books up to borrow (for a month!) and we will restock the display. #alibrarianineveryschool #read #booksbooksbooks #lagbrary #schoollibrary @laguardiahs_pa @sgolag @laguardia.arts

This past Tuesday for Waste Climate Action Day, SGO members assisted in the cafeteria with waste sorting! We had a great time teaching everyone the importance of sorting your waste at our new cafeteria waste sorting stations.
Sorting doesn’t stop after Climate Action Day! Be sure to continue being mindful when disposing of waste to ensure it ends up in the correct bin.

More photos from our Art Department open house! Ms. O'Connell, our Studio Assistant Principal, and I had a great time meeting prospective students and welcoming them to our Fine Arts Department. Thank you to all our visitors, student volunteers, and the Parents Association. It was a huge success, and we’re so thankful to everyone who came and helped making the day special!! 🎨❤️

Do you know how to properly sort your waste? 🚮

With Waste Climate Action Day approaching on October 20, it’s the perfect time to get familiar with the 4 types of bins found at school.

Sorting your waste ensures bins don’t get contaminated, allowing custodians to recycle or compost instead of putting everything into the landfill.

So next time you’re throwing something out, take a second to ensure it’s going into the right bin!

Join us in the cafeterias for waste sorting activities on Tuesday October 20 during all lunch periods.
