Trinidad and Tobago’s Shaka Hislop took the stage at the PFA Awards on Wednesday, co-presenting the Championship Player of the Year award.

A respected figure in the English game, Hislop is one of only two non-British players inducted into the PFA Roll of Honour, alongside Pelé.

He also received the PFA Special Merit Award in 2005 for co-founding the anti-racism education charity, Show Racism the Red Card.

Twenty-one years on, a welcome return to the PFA stage. 🇹🇹⚽️🏆
