Hiked 4 miles (not a lot) and 4,000ft of elevation gain (a lot) to get this fish... It was worth every step

I like using something like a leech or a small wooly bugger on nymph rigs sometimes and I let them swing as though I was fishing like a streamer... And lot of times the fish will eat on the end of the swing (or as I like to call it, the "dangle") by @shakedown_stream

Incredible Labor Day trip to one of my favorite places on earth. The views the way down and up were endless. It was my first backpacking trip along with @colorado_troutscout. @popsflies and @fly.guy.usa had to show us the ropes! Busted knee won’t stop me from fishing! Especially after putting in that hike! The first of many backpacking trips! #gunnisonriver #maniconeflyworks #lastpicbestpic😂 by @shakedown_stream

One of those days where you just have a blast on the river... Small water, bigger fish than expected, and a lot of laughs. Tough to beat it!

Shoutout @manicone_fly_works for the flies! by @shakedown_stream

The gym I go to is also a hot spring... Right in a little creek. Finally decided to see what was going down and this lil dude took the dry. Fun times by @shakedown_stream
