WOMAN OF ACTION

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The start of our Prayer Retreat began at the @thebglibrary . Our entrance was through a giant glass window cross. Prophetically we discerned this was a divine escort and a wide open door symbolizing an entry point into our next.
.
The phrase wide open door, comes from 1 Corinthians 16:9, where Apostle Paul discerned the opportunity before him was a wide open door for effective work. The biblical definition of wide used in this scripture is mega. Mega has many definitions, one that stands out is “belonging to persons of ability, virtue, authority and power”. The door meaning, the opportunity.
.
That door swung wide open as we walked up and caught us by surprise. It wasn’t obvious to the eye that it was even a door, we didn’t even know what was ahead of us. (Keep your eye out for the unique doors God will open in the year ahead.)
.
When we entered into the building and ventured through the exhibits God showed us clearly that the life of Billy Graham, was the story He desired for all of His children. It was a life that shined a bright light on Jesus. His life exemplified the life of obedience and submission of a vessel who was willing to give God everything. The impact, the authority, the message, the glory was palpable.
.
Our time there began to beg many questions of us.
💎What can God do with our lives laid down for His? 💎This was not just a prayer retreat, but an opportunity for much more was being presented, would we take up the mantle to shift a generation for God’s glory?
.
Our time there marked us in such a special way. So grateful we were led here at the start of our trip. by @shamsham_

For such a TIME as THIS, GOD had Asheville, NC on His heart. 🥹 Every cry in that city would be answered by sons and daughters coming to intercede and serve the Lord’s will for their revival and awakening. We started to see that God’s hand was completely upon this trip. The Spirit of God released a word through my sis @iamrachelstewart that made clear God’s heart for their revival, which we are so blessed to have planted seed into.
.
How sweet it is to be apart of the plans of God. It’s so easy to miss Him, but when you lean in and see His hand all you can do is thank Him for allowing you to have any role, or assignment in it.
.
To meet so many volunteers who just knew they needed to be apart of the solution, churches who were out and sending group after group to continue to be a hope was powerful to see. All I kept thinking was wow God look how you love this place🥹🙌🏾
.
Thank you Lord for planting that seed of LOVE for your city in our hearts and for treating us to such beautiful encounters with you, even in service. We did not serve because we were good, but because you are.
.

In six years, Veronica’s Way has traveled to four countries and two continents. Donated 315 computers and constructed 33 computer labs impacting nearly 50,000 students, their villages and communities. Join us on a remarkable journey spanning 10 days in Ghana.

In just four days, Veronica’s Way travel team worked tirelessly to build nine computer labs, fostering computer literacy among 10,000 eager students. But our mission didn’t stop there - the next four days were dedicated to immersing ourselves in the rich history and vibrant culture of our ancestral homeland.

The travel group took the “last bath” and explored the Slave Castle in Cape Coast, an experience that deeply reconnected us with our ancestral heritage and will sure to leave a lasting impact on our lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Incorporated, Africa With Us. Beyond the Return, Salem United Methodist Church, and everyone who supported our travel team for their unwavering support in making this incredible journey possible.

Watch our video to witness the impact of dedication, unity, and education on the lives of these young minds. Together, we’re writing a brighter future, one computer at a time.

We dedicate our lives to service. As the song says, Ghana as long as we can do anything about it we will never leave your side! The joy and love we received in song, welcome ceremonies and gifts has left our travel team without words and wrapping our minds around the experience, but what we will say is we are fulfilled and reminded to tap into our inner child. We persevered through the weeks challenges, we danced and moved like water. This post is dedicated to the children of Ghana! You are the future. Be the change you want to see in the world! Thank for welcoming us and making us feel right at home! 🌍
