TourMentorship. A season long mentorship with a focus on touring. Not a zoom school. Classic tours in real life conditions, executed as a group with students leading more and more throughout the season.
❄️
Bonus. Free enrollment in our virtual mentorship, Terrain Talks, which is a zoom school, sort of but so much more. taken in Cascadia by @shanecrobinson

Schools out for the summer, but you might need to head back to @trewgear summer (ski) school 😬. Tune in for the third and final episode — @shanecrobinson is dropping some knowledge on how to better utilize your heel risers to keep your quads feeling strong so you don't get those rubbery legs on the way down.

Last trip of the season was maybe a bit more Graybird than we hoped for, but legit pow turns on June 7th and a type 2 fun adventure were the perfect way to end the 2026 skison!

📍 Svalbard 🙌🏾
🐻‍❄️
Nowhere like it. Powder under the midnight sun. Ski to sea. Reindeer, Arctic Fox, Walrus, and Polar Bears (not seen on this trip). Skiing about as close as possible to the North Pole.
Who’s coming next year? 4 spots left!

Meet @shanecrobinson an AMGA-certified ski guide, based in Seattle, Washington, where he owns and operates @graybirdguiding. Finding the best snow and mentorship are two of Shane's passions as a guide, and he's just as likely to teach you a new skill as he is to convince you that we should take 'one more lap.' Shane works around the world, from his backyard in the Cascades to Antarctica and Svalbard, Norway, among other destinations, so a reliable navigation app is very important to Shane so he can quickly find the best terrain in new locations.

We are excited to have Shane join the Outmap team!
