i didn’t work at “the mother ship.” i opened dallas and atlanta and spent 13 year with craft - 10 in los angeles. this restaurant changed my life just like it changed dining in the US in 2001. 19th street had its last service last night. it’s the end of an era - i’ve been watching the posts of all the talented chefs, managers, servers and cooks that went through there - or stayed the whole fucking time! and it’s been emotional. i am forever grateful to feel a part of that family even though i wasn’t at the NY OG. @tomcolicchio you’re the best man and best chef. @craftedhospitality i think about the lessons i learned there every day. make people happy, indeed!! by @shannon_swindle
