OBRIGADO Tubarões Azuis! There are NO words to truly articulate what this moment has meant for Cape Verdeans- on Cape Verde, here in the US, throughout the diaspora and the world.I’ve spent my whole life starting with “it’s a small system of islands off the west coast of Africa...” when anyone that has ever asked me where my ancestors are from- this HISTORIC (magical) run changed all of that!@fcvandebol stepped out onto the global stage with the Cape Verde Islands in your heart, the 🇨🇻 on your backs and you put CABO VERDE on the map! Thank you, thank you, thank you @fcfcomunica for bringing us all along with you on this unbelievable journey- we are so unbelievably grateful (and proud) to have had the privilege of cheering our hearts out! I encourage everyone whose heart was stolen by the grit, determination, heart, brilliance, beauty and culture- to visit Cabo Verde- it is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I’ve ever been- the ten islands of Cabo Verde’s natural beauty is mind blowing, our food, music, art and culture are one of one and the vibes are immaculate- morabeza isn’t just a slogan, it’s a way of life ✨Thank you @fcfcomunica @caboverdefcf@cabo_verde_futebol for putting the whole of Cabo Verde on your back and stepping on the world stage and leaving nothing on the pitch!
