From the Isle of Man to Poole, with a stop at Shanty after sea survival training at RNLI College. 🌊

Lovely to meet Dita, an RNLI crew member who dropped in on a personal visit after training, thanks to a recommendation from another local business. She couldn't choose between our rum and vodka, so took home both.

Fire cooking with a view.

Luke Vandore-Mackay of @highgrangedevon was cooking over the fire in the fabulous garden at @lulworthlodge, overlooking Lulworth Cove.

The @thesaltwatersauna group had spent the day foraging and gathering seafood for their annual get-together. Crabs, lobster, squid and fish, with venison and vegetables too. Everyone was lending a hand with the preparations.

Shanty was invited along for the group to taste. Thank you for the invitation and the warm welcome.

A look inside the distillery with Hugh and Rich: prepping the wasabi, watching the still do its work, then finding out what comes through in the glass.

The tasting here is a sample straight from the still, before bottling.
