The raisins have been soaking for a month in @shantyspirit seaweed spiced rum, giving a fantastic pop of rum with each raisin you bite into. Divine. #brownies #browniesbypost #baking #bakery

This October, we have paired up with the fabulous Dorset based business, Shanty Spirit, to give our rum & raisin brownie of the month a true taste of Dorset. The raisins have been soaking in their barrel aged seaweed spiced rum for the past month, before making their way into our rich, gooey award winning brownies. You’re in for a treat! When @pierjournal asks if you wanna be part of a Bournemouth Town Centre Takeover, you say YES!

This week @jessica.toale has masterminded a five-day programme of amazing events right on the high street, bringing life back to a disused retail space.

It all kicks off on Monday with Pier Journal's takeover of the space: local creatives, zine making, food and drink, art and live music - it's going to be quite the day!

Find us at no. 6 Old Christchurch Rd from 10am-5pm. I'm bringing along one of a kind handmade accessories, kits, cards and my DIY trinket goodies! Come say hi?

Delighted to be there with @baoskincare @full_frontal_birds @megfranart @shantyspirit @cartsidecoffee @thelonelysurf

Our lovely traders are booking up their pitches - have a sneak peek at some of them here, with more to follow soon.

But we'd love to have a couple more street food stalls joining us, to serve up some lunch to the visitors. Spread the word folks! Sunday 13th December (pizza, toasties, Caribbean, burgers, hog roast and coffee already booked)
