Hi! During the Alpha Kappa Alpha North Atlantic Regional Conference 🩷💚 I was honored to receive the New Soror of the Year Award representing the Psi Iota Omega Chapter and the region. I was REALLY surprised, looked at the screen, saw my name, then heard it and froze. Service over self has been part of my life for decades. Service was instilled in us my entire life. Receiving an honor such as this, for doing something that I love, is nothing short of amazing. I was blessed to be given an award from an organization that I hold in the highest regard. Thank you Musau Dibinga for being my beacon of light. Thank you to the members of @psiiotaomega1908 Chapter for your support, huge, love and cheers. Hi! Sunday. June 28th, was quite busy! I had the pleasure of spending time with family and you know I love them to eternity!! My niece Mzuri was received an award for an amazing freshman year in college, excellent grades and being exactly who she is🥰🥰. My niece and nephew performed and also received awards for their performance, moving up to the next grade and their academics . I was happy to get there in time to break bread, laugh, talk and just be. It’s important to show up for people you love. One of my heartbeats was right there with me and I just missed Musau ❤️ ❤️❤️ by @shapeupshaumba
