What if artists had a digital space built for community, not algorithms?
Tired of chasing likes, views, and endless social media algorithms just to get your creative work seen? You’re not alone.
When self-taping from home and industry strikes brought auditions to a crawl, actress Sharon Pierre-Louis (Django Unchained, Switched at Birth) realized how isolating the creative journey could feel.
Enter Pepli, a digital platform described by Sharon as a 'LinkedIn for artists, performers, and creatives'.
Unlike traditional social media networks, Pepli is designed to foster genuine connection and collaboration. So:
* No Algorithm Chasing: Features a chronological, customizable feed where users control what they see without bottomless scrolling.
* Auditions and Opportunities: Includes a centralized hub for job listings, audition posts, and casting calls.
* Peer-to-Peer Collaboration: Search for fellow creatives by discipline or region to collaborate, share process, and network in a safe environment.
If you're ready to trade algorithm fatigue for meaningful artistic community, download the Pepli app, and listen to episode 151 of the Creativity Found podcast to hear Sharon’s inspiring story!**

This week's guest, actress and Pepli founder Sharon Pierre-Louis, explains why releasing raw emotion through art is essential for our mental and spiritual well-being.
Because our bodies can't distinguish between real, imagined, or scripted emotion, stepping into a safe creative container allows us to process and let go of feelings we rarely have room to express in daily life. As one of Sharon’s mentors put it, performers are 'emotional athletes' trained to navigate intense feelings without getting lost in them.
Whether you act, paint, write, or make music, your creative outlet isn't just a project, it's a vital space to cleanse the spirit and refill your reservoir of joy.
Listen to episode 151 of Creativity Found, Performance, Processing and Pepli with Sharon Pierre-Louis for more on Sharon's inspiring journey from screen acting to building a digital haven for creatives!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas, mother figures & those who are nurturing others, including mothering themselves. These photos were taken at my mum's birthday party recently where we got to celebrate her in community. With overwhelming appreciation I say Bon Fèt Manman to my mummy & Buona Festa della Mamma to my lovely mother-in-law!

May we all feel wrapped in unconditional love today 💗💕💐💕💗 #HappyMothersDay #BonFètManman #BuonaFestadellaMamma

ID: A family picture with everyone looking straight at the camera. Time flies. I've been pretty MIA from social media because of family life, work & a personal creative project that I can't wait to share with you all in a few months! Attached are a few pics of where my focus has been ❤️ My cup overflows & I hope you all are exercising some good self-care in these wild times we are living in. We've got a lot of work to do as a collective. Much love 🫶🏾🤟🏾🫶🏾 by @shapielou
