Steering from inside the cabin, the sail could not be completely lowered, resulting in a huge tangle. The last photo is when we got a tow from the harbor to the furl station and we clipped the wall. Only cosmetic damage.Now getting cables remade, one plus a spare! by @sharlafied

😳😳😳😳50 miles after that last video we lost control of our tiller. The steel cable broke and we had no steering. We grabbed the emergency tiller and it had to be inserted underneath our bed in the cabin. So while Mauricio steered, I stayed in the cockpit, calling out the coordinates. We needed to do this for the last 10 miles of our trip. We had 30 kn of wind for a half hour, then it died down. by @sharlafied
