Hey everyone! I am SO excited to present From One Closet To Another, a community-centered clothing market. The idea is simple. The pieces sitting in our closets still have value—and there’s someone in our community who may love them next. Think of all the times we get together as a community and witness the beautiful ways in which we dress ourselves and express to the world who we are. The layers, accessories, charms and the like.

When we are ready to rehome these garments, we deserve the value of what they are without the tedious task of posting on Etsy, or crossing your fingers you’ll get $20 back from your local thrift store.

As stated in the video, this is more than a marketplace. This event is about sustainability, affordability, and connection. To connect with those who have stories attached to their merchandise they want to share, or to get an idea of just how fly your community is.

From One Closet To Another is really my BABY!

I’m still on the high of such a beautiful event that I curated filled with real members of our community! The level of love and support I have from my tribe is truly unmatched, especially if you know me personally.

This idea has been sitting on the dome for the better part of two years, and anyone that manifests knows how good it must’ve felt to manifest to the physical. I wanted to create a super homey vibe in a super homie space. While its amazing black and brown faces are even able to occupy bigger venues, sometimes it’s not needed. Sometimes the mission calls for lemongrass incense, soft conservations over a jazz set & a community operated thrift store experience! It felt good to speak to locals who wandered in hearing the music, and walked away with unique pieces! ✨🥹

Ya girl get a lil too present and forgets to document🌚 but just know we in the field and connection is being made man!

Thankful to every single helping hand. I love y’all deep! Excited to throw the next one! We got some upgrades coming yall way!

Thank you so much in advance for your support and getting together to support community over a huge con and interest of ours, which is fashion and self-expression! The participants are chosen and ready to show you what they got👀

We have streetwear, boho chic, Y2K fashion, vintage pieces, graphic tees, and the like! We have men and women’s apparel available, as well as accessories. Participants are ready to interact and share some insight on their style, and yall should be ready to shop and connect over a clear common interest-fashion.

Finally ready to share! A few months ago I was blessed with a small sum of money, and God told me to feed people. The blessing barely felt like mine before I knew it to be a seed to help others, as I’ve needed it in the past.

The Bread and Blessings Initiative is an intentional community effort to feed the displaced in urban neighborhoods. While this started as something I wanted to do with a few friends, Gods direction and my name being mentioned in rooms I wasn’t in, put me here. With the help of @neenav_ @sirm00re, @marsonmarz & one of my favorite people @sungod_ 💙 we were able to MAKE AND DISTRIBUTE 50 SANDWICHES, SNACKS & WATER TO OUR COMMUNITY IN NEED!

Bless the students of @greatoakslegacy who had a chance to connect with me and participate! I didn’t let yall play Rod Wave but hope you were cool with the Daniel Caesar we played instead, haha! I can’t wait to see your beautiful faces again. If anyone is interested in getting together to do this again for the Christmas holiday, let’s work! by @sharnanigans_
