POV: What happens when you bring 30 friends together for a Les Misérables table read… 😭😂

We had a sassy bishop, even sassier Thénardiers, and an Éponine who may have been hustling as a lighting designer in a past life.

An unforgettable night in celebration of @sharniewarnie ‘s 32nd birthday. I am forever honored to have been your Old Woman 2, Old Beggar Woman and Cosette (Act II). My career has peaked and it’s just all going to be downhill from here most probably.

I made another thing! Always wanted to be a gentleman and so Les Miserables: The Seated Spectacular was the perfect opportunity for it! It was the costume for a table read of the full musical with my most talented friends. Wish you were there! It was so fun!!

To celebrate turning 32, I have gathered some extremely talented, lovely friends who will bring the full score of Les Misérables alive through a 3 hour long table read. We will sing through the musical stopping only for a delicious dinner during the intermission, and at the end for the Herculean effort of completing it.

YOU are invited to witness this gathering of amazing people to watch us hoot and holler and laugh and cry as we journey with our characters (in costume, maybe). Please DM if you intend to attend.

3rd Oct 2026, Saturday. Call time 5.30 PM, first note at 6 PM sharp. +1s and fans very welcome. No gifts will be accepted, and if any, in monetary terms directed to New Life Community Services with 2.5X tax rebates.

Our founder @sharniewarnie received the @tatlerhomes Design Award for Best Luxury Concept with the White House. We are incredibly honoured to have won this award beating 7 other entries in the category.

At the gala dinner he caught up with many accomplished peers in the industry.

Last year my parents and I went on a hiking blitz. First conquering Mt Fuji and later Kamikochi, the northern Japanese alps.

The hike was really easy and relaxing. So much forest bathing for rejuvenating your soul. Totally recommend the quieter trails instead of touristy Instagram spots! Kamikochi was hard to get to without a car, but it’s worth the trip for a night stay or two.

Did you know American architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed a huge building in downtown Tokyo?

Despite being heavily influenced by Japanese architecture, he designed the Imperial Hotel in his American Mayan Revival style. Having read all about the building, I took the pilgrimage to Meiji Village Museum to see the lobby relocated brick by brick from Tokyo!

This architectural museum-park is in Inuyama (tr. “dog mountain”), a fair distance from Nagoya. Very worthwhile to visit as you can appreciate collected Meiji era buildings in a single theme park!

Last year dad and I attempted to complete the climb up Mt Fuji!

But bad weather forced us to turn back after staying a night in a mountain lodge. Climbers stay in a lodge overnight so they can reach the peak by early morning and witness the sun rising.

You HAVE to visit this place in Hakone, even if you aren’t an art fan!

Last year my parents and I did a road trip around Japan’s central Honshu island and chanced upon this unique museum showcasing sculptural works in an outdoor format. It’s literally a stroll in the park and it was such a refreshing way to appreciate art.

Hakone is just two hours away from Tokyo!

Last year my parents and I decided to scale Mt Fuji! They are in their 60s and wanted to relive their trekking days.

Climbing Mt Fuji needs a lot of planning and preparation. You can’t just turn up and climb! Now you have to make sure you have a pass and lodging to climb the mountain.
