Still in shock I actually sang a C6 tbh 😭

“A Heart Full of Love (Reprise)” ends off with the highest note of Cosette’s sung lines in Les Misérables, a top C (C6).

I abstained from spicy food and dairy for a whole week in preparation and it was maybe the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Yet another day where I pretend to be a classically trained singer… 🫣😬

POV: What happens when you bring 30 friends together for a Les Misérables table read… 😭😂

We had a sassy bishop, even sassier Thénardiers, and an Éponine who may have been hustling as a lighting designer in a past life.

An unforgettable night in celebration of @sharniewarnie ‘s 32nd birthday. I am forever honored to have been your Old Woman 2, Old Beggar Woman and Cosette (Act II). My career has peaked and it’s just all going to be downhill from here most probably.

Last but certainly not least, Happy 41st Anniversary to Les Misérables! Thank you for the gift of beautiful music and a timeless story that has inspired generations of theatremakers and audiences. ♥️

Our founder @sharniewarnie received the @tatlerhomes Design Award for Best Luxury Concept with the White House. We are incredibly honoured to have won this award beating 7 other entries in the category.

At the gala dinner he caught up with many accomplished peers in the industry.

Being surrounded by, and working with, some of the best creatives in the industry reminded me why theatre exists — to question, to provoke, to remind us of what being human truly means, and to ultimately bring us closer as one. That’s exactly what being part of The Christians taught and gifted me. My love goes out to my incredible castmates 🙏🏽

To the @wildricesg crew, after 46 call sheets, thank you 🤍 Thank you for everything that you’ve done for us. How you took such good care of us, how you made sure that every one of us had everything we needed to put on 26 fantastic shows. My heart goes out to each and every one of you for doing the absolute most, from stage management to wardrobe to sound to lights to hair to welfare, and everything in between

And to Glen and Elaine, thank you for taking a chance on me, on a boy whose dreams for the stage are as BIG as the moon, and for believing in my best efforts and gifts. We could not have done this without your direction, guidance, and precious advice that I will carry with me for many years to come

Till next time x

26 performances later, we’ve officially closed The Christians! 💛

Thank you all for coming to church with us and for being a part of our congregation these past few weeks. It has been a privilege to share this play with you.

To our incredible company of The Christians, onstage and off: thank you for the honesty, care, and craft you brought to every performance.

Lucas Hnath’s powerful play asks hard questions and offers no easy answers. It asks us to hold space for doubt, for disagreement, for the people we love who see the world differently. We hope the play has made room in you for doubt, for questioning, and for grace, and to see each other with a little more empathy.

The love and support you’ve shown this production has meant the world to us. Thank you. 🙏

⛪️ “A church is a place where people go to see something that is very difficult to see. A place where the invisible is – at least for a moment – made visible. The theatre can be that too.” — Lucas Hnath
