So many people doing good things. @spannawalker is helping to build equality in how pro women’s cycling is broadcasted (is that a real word?) She’s a huge advocate for more air time because, well women’s cycling is exciting, unpredictable, and frankly often better to watch than the men’s pro races where you can predict the finish about 50km out. So many options for bike rides out of Macon! We found a tunnel that was 1.5km long and climbed back up hills I thought would be too steep for me to ride. It’s been pretty fun exploring the countryside and finding hidden gems along the way. And what a joy to ride with my favourite guy 😘 by @shawnacurry

Can’t say enough about our meal at @restaurant_thomas today for lunch. It was legit the best meal we’ve had in France this trip. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. If you’re ever in #lyon and want an incredible meal, this is your spot. Bon appetit! by @shawnacurry

What an incredible day! An epic ride with my favourite guy through the route of the #grandcru We started in @nuitsaintgeorges and worked our way down to #chalonsursaone Lunch was delicious at @tabledusquare who graciously tolerated my poor Canadian French and our sweaty bike kit. The Premier Cru glass of wine was delicious and paired lovely with the meal. We finished the day just under 80km with an Aperol spritz and then a short train home. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Highly recommend the adventure! by @shawnacurry

Did an amazing 60km loop through the farms around Macon. Lots of rolling hills and some recovery wine/coke after. The fresh air and blue skies are such a treat after a long hard winter. Glad those painful rides and hard work on the trainer are paying off. #france #macon #cervelo #bike #vacation by @shawnacurry

Reno update! It’s been eight weeks of renos and only four weeks left. Tile should be done shortly and getting closer to painting the place. Things are starting to come together and are looking amazing. Can’t wait to see (and live in) the finished product. by @shawnacurry
