Over the summer I directed “One More Round” which was my third short and a lot of fun to make. “One More Round” tells the story of two brothers at a crossroads: one adrift, the other ascending. Over a round of drinks, they spar, prod, poke, and love in the way only brothers can. It’s a story about family, choosing your path in life, and the way your relationships get redefined along the way.

I had the chance to work with some incredibly talented people, including @jd_wordslinger @thatmikevera @anniephilpott @khto_music @homunculusrajiv @austinchasebalderas @jennie_catherine15 and of course, DP @jaacinema who is an incredible artist, collaborator, and human, and was a huge contributor to the film, starting with the several weeks we spent driving around hot ass Austin scouting dive bars.

A huge thank you to @saharaloungeatx to allowing us to shoot onsite, and of course my rockstar wife @aleeeejandrad, who made sure our shoot ran smoothly and encouraged and supported me every step of the way.

We’re still putting the finishing touches on the film, and I’m excited to share it soon! In the meantime, we got some BTS and stills for ya. by @shawnpomeara
