It’s been two years since I got in my car and made the most spontaneous decision of my life by moving to NYC. For many reasons, it was a place I never thought I’d need or even want to be, but I’ve gained so much from it.

Lifelong friendships, a community of shared interests, a space to be wildly creative with film and photography, opportunities to be both a mentor and a mentee, healing family bonds, challenging myself, and soooo much more.

Of course, this experience hasn’t come without its own share of setbacks and disappointments, but that’s a given when you’re truly living beyond fear.

I told myself I wasn’t going to get too sappy in a post, but I just want to thank all of you who have been a part of this journey so far. Thank you for being a part of my growth, for accepting me as I am, and for being an endless source of inspiration. I’m so grateful for everything and look forward to another crazy year together. 💕✨🌃🎬

If you haven't heard, I was accepted to Feirstein's Graduate School of Cinema and I've been absolutely loving the program! (Be prepared for film updates!)

This weekend, I shot my first semester MOS project with an absolutely amazing, creative, and empowering team. The project is called "Still Life" which wrestles with the human dilemma of fulfillment vs. realistic survival needs.

When writing, creating, and directing it people told me they relate to the struggle directly, so I hope this piece becomes a launch pad for us to embrace the things that nourish our soul.

Cast & Crew: You are all beautiful. I wouldn't have wanted to shoot this with anyone else (including our cranky AD Lorenzo the Seagull ❤️)! I'll be seeing you on other projects very soon!

I'll be sure to keep everyone tuned in through the post-production process and it's submission/release! 🎉
