I made a video for one of the poems I recorded with @rocketcohen for the flipside of the split 7inch record with two kickass songs from @nakaiyazzie 's SF band Sweat Lodge on the other side (put together by @related_records ).
I've always been a big @bobdylan fan, so I wanted this video to be like a @michelgondry variation of the Subterranean Homesick Blues classic.
This poem can also be found in the book Gravity & Spectacle.
Thanks to @partyteeth and the Duke Of Mirth Robbie Cohen for their co-starring roles.

#psa our records are here and they are gorgeous. The cover art from @calamityfair looks amazing in real life. This split 7inch with two of my favorite Sweat Lodge songs on one side and my poems that @rocketcohen recorded and produced on the other came out cooler than i could have imagined. Ryan did a fantabulous job of putting this all together.
We'll have a launch show at @stinkweedsrecords on Feb. 25th but you can pre-order from @related_records and they will ship a few weeks before that. Can't wait for you to hear/see/hoard what took 18 months to happen 🖤
Picked some up from Ryan who just got a new banner for Trunk Space and drove down to hand deliver a box to Rocky in Tucson.
Stopped by the @uapoetrycenter and loved that they had some infamous back issues of the legendary "Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking, & Light Industrial Safety"

Several photos in our book happened @therebelphx and it's mentioned in at least one poem, so @violetsky29 and I will geek out about this forever.
Lots of memories at this space, from seeing shows like Mike Watt, Frank Black, and Swervedriver back when it was the Mason Jar...to seeing current favs like @minijefes and @ajjtheband (in fact, the photos in the book are from AJJ's Rebel Lounge release show for The Bible 2)
Venues like this are fighting to stay alive through the pandemic #saveourstages

Caught the opening night for the new @jojamhorner gallery @maybe_art_space and it's even greater than expected. Then drove up to Prescott to see @erik.bitsui read at @peregrinebookcompany and remind us all why we love him 🤘🖤 by @shawnteorion

Multitudes of thanks to @_moveablebeast and all the Tucson folks who came out to @studioonstone for the reading last night! Much love to @esoteric_memory and @ash_hooke for inviting me to read with @the_thunder_perfect_mind and @romolampkin
P.S. if your bathtub isn't this lit, don't bother inviting me to your poetry readings. by @shawnteorion
