Instead of a quinceañera, my daughter asked for a bedroom makeover… and honestly, I couldn’t love that more 🏰

Watching her dream up every little detail has been so special and I can’t wait to bring it all to life for her piece by piece 🛠️✨ by @she_plusfive

Living in a 150+ year-old house means quirky details everywhere 🤯 Some I absolutely adore, others make me question every past decision.

Turns out, the house was turned into apartments at some point—so that explains the FOUR kitchens! 😅

I am still trying to uncover more of its history and every diy project makes me excited to find hidden treasures.

What do you want to see more of? 👇🏽

They said don’t change the kitchen… but I don’t listen to anyone 💁🏽‍♀️

Our 1850s house has so much history and this space has already lived a few different lives. Now it’s becoming my daughter’s dream bedroom!!

Our living room has changed SO much over the two years we’ve lived here!!

You already know how much I love mixing patterns, textures, and different eras and finding a way to make it all work for our big family! This zebra print sofa from @zgallerie is definitely one of my favorite pieces in the living room now ♥️

Which version do you prefer…then or now? 👀

The color is in and I’m OBSESSED with how these two shades look together 🪾🏰

A big thank you to @wagnerspraytech for gifting us the PaintStick EZ Roller + PowerFlow EZ Roller for this project! 💛

Crown molding is definitely going on the future to-do list but I can’t decide about the ceiling…

Progress tour! ✨

There is STILL sooo much to do but I’m choosing to celebrate the progress we’ve made so far 🤍

If you’ve been keeping up with the news you may know that our little town was hit by a catastrophic flood last month. Thankfully, our family wasn’t directly affected other than being without power and water for a few days but it definitely put me behind on a lot of things 🙈 especially this project!

So right now I’m celebrating the wins… even the little ones. Because progress is progress, and after the last month, I’m giving myself permission to appreciate how far we’ve come instead of only focusing on everything that’s left to do 🥹🫶🏽

Hopefully, we can get the rest of this space finished over the next couple of weeks! 🤞🏽

And please keep our town in your prayers. So many families lost their entire homes and are still waiting for the opportunity to rebuild 💔

If you’d like to help support local flood relief efforts you can make a financial donation through the link in my bio. Every little bit helps!! 🙏🏽 taken in Cambridge City, Indiana by @she_plusfive

Help us decide which one to pick!

Option A is my daughter’s favorite because of the tall headboard BUT it’s an odd size! a little bigger than a twin but smaller than a full (44” x 76” to be exact) which means I would need to order a custom size mattress 🙈

Option B is my personal favorite because it doesn’t hide the wallpaper and it’s a full size so it’s bigger and we already have a mattress that fits it 🙌🏽

Both have so much character and history, but we need your help! 🤍 Which one would you choose and why?
