You haven’t posted on here in a while. In fact, you have not posted much of anything on any of your platforms for what feels like an indefinite and continually extended period.

You wonder if anyone else has felt this sense of detachment, like a sort of ‘drifting away’ from career, hobbies, places, people that they once thought they could not live without. Or a separation from their de(vices) which they ultimately survived?

That is where you’ve been holed up, and happily so you must admit. Away & alone has been where you’ve found so much solace, where you have been able to tear the broken ship apart. You get to see all of it— the rusty & the ugly, the decay & the rot.

You are reminded that your spirit needs a vessel to move through this physical experience. Then, you are forced to tend to the damaged parts, clean them up and make sure you can continue on your mission.

When you take away all that is material, what are you left with but the soul? Have you been good to yourself, are you at peace? The work to understand your shadows, to purge the darkness, to find your inner child and heal them— have you been doing it?

Do not get distracted by the ways of this world, by the greed and envy and anger and hatred this world wishes you to consume and eventually become. Love and heal yourself then when you are able, your love can help others heal too. You can be the catalyst that awakens others from their spiritual slumber and guide them to reconnect to self, to spirit, to Creator.

You are more powerful than you allow yourself to think, made in the image of The Beginning and The End. And by extension, because I am you and you are me and we are ONE, you are encouraged to be good to others, to be good to US. You will thank yourself for it when you awaken.

@dice1stunner brings the weight of a man caught between duty and conscience - a policeman who loves the law and the family it’s meant to protect.

@shecantgo steps into the vigil and leaves nothing behind. An original spoken word piece commissioned by @ndiilo_n for her book You Fucked With the Wrong Generation: Ode to Modern Day Activism in Namibia. The poem, a reflection of Niita’s own activism and solidarity with her community, channels the grief, anger, and frustration at the heart of the film.
