“I’d like to thank the Academy....You only get a few chances to say that.” ✨

From the stage at the 2025 GEMA Awards: TV/Streaming - North America, Sheila Alexander (@shedalex) accepts for Oscarsland (Live Event Promo) on behalf of the team at @ABC.

A labor of love. A team behind it. And a speech that thanks @jimmykimmellive for the introduction that led to meeting Ryan Gosling. 😏 Moments like this remind you why you do the work. And you never know where it might be recognized.

As the 2026 GEMA Awards: General Entertainment – North America approach the second entry deadline, this is your moment to put your work forward for consideration. Showcase your work today by going to 🔗 in bio! taken in Los Angeles, California by @shedalex

The whole city is going back2back
So excited to share another GEMA win for The Oscars campaign!!! There were so many incredible people who helped create this piece, this moment, and i’m so happy I could accept on our behalf.

Cheers to another one! 🎉✨
shoutout to @nucontext and @wethediff for being incredible production and VFX partners, the internal folks at ABC/CMP and most importantly @jimmykimmel for bringing Ryan Gosling to set 💕 It was more than Kenough taken in Wilshire Ebell Theater by @shedalex

I rarely share my work here but I am beyond grateful to have written and produced this Juneteenth
PSA for @abcnetwork

All of the talent in front of and behind the camera made this a memorable experience. As a descendant of slaves I know I wouldn’t be here today, if our ancestors never dreamed of freedom. Their vision of a better tomorrow gave us the foundation to reach for endless possibilities. Swipe to see some incredible creative!! (also happy father’s day to the man who gave me this face 😉)

To honor Opal Lee's vision for the holiday, we're
celebrating Juneteenth from
the 19th to the 4th of July, so more to come!
