Be honest. Can you even tell which one is the rendering? 👀

Because when I tell you they understood the assignment… THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! 🤎

When I decided to finish my basement, I had a very specific vision. I wanted a moody, sophisticated lounge with a custom bar that felt more like a boutique hotel than a basement.

I worked with @glasshouseinterior through e-design to bring that vision together. Then @grandeurimage.remodeling and Puckett Electric helped turn those plans into reality.

And here’s the part I love. When my designer finally came over after everything was finished to style the space and add the final accessories, even SHE was impressed by how closely it matched the original rendering!

That’s what happens when you have the right people bringing your vision to life.

You don’t need permission to pay attention.

New real estate agents, having a good mentor can make a HUGE difference in your career. But while you’re finding the right one, don’t sit around waiting to learn the business.

Here’s what I’d do in the meantime:

1. Get in the right rooms. Attend trainings, industry events, and open houses where successful agents are.
2. Study the agents who are producing. Watch how they communicate, follow up, negotiate, and build relationships.
3. Offer to help. Ask to assist with open houses or showings. Sometimes the experience is worth more than the paycheck.
4. Ask specific questions. Successful people are often willing to share a little knowledge when you show genuine interest.
5. Put what you learn into action. Information means nothing if you don’t use it.

And when you find a mentor who’s willing to invest in your growth, value that relationship! The right guidance can save you years of trial and error.

Until then, keep learning, keep showing up, and stay coachable.

The closing was just the beginning! 🎳

One thing about my clients, they’re showing up and bringing the whole family! 🤎

Our annual Client Bowling Night is one of my favorite Friday nights of the year. The kids, the cousins, the friends, everybody is welcome!

We take care of the bowling, shoes, pizza, refreshments and dessert. All they have to do is show up ready to have a good time!

But my favorite part? Seeing clients I’ve worked with for years come back, bring their families, introduce me to new people, and make another round of memories with us.

I don’t believe the relationship ends when you get your keys or sell your home. And if you’ve ever been to one of our events, you already know!

What I Wore Wednesday 🤎

The older I get, the more I appreciate a good classic piece. Something comfortable, tailored, and easy to dress up or down.

Between client meetings, content days, and the occasional upscale happy hour, I love an outfit that can take me from day to night without having to change.

You don’t become confident and then go do the work. You do the work enough times that you become confident.

When I was a new real estate agent, I worked open houses almost every weekend. Saturday AND Sunday when I could.

If I didn’t have a listing to hold open, I’d ask other agents in my office if I could hold theirs.

I thought I was looking for buyers. I didn’t realize I was getting the reps that would help build my career.

New construction homeowners… y’all okay? More importantly, are your pockets okay?!

Because nobody warned me that after you build the HOUSE, you basically start another project outside. 😩🌿

More dirt. Sod when the seed refused to cooperate. And flower beds that I’ve been adding to year after year because apparently the garden in my head wasn’t going to appear overnight. 😂

Four years later, it’s finally starting to look the way I imagined.

If you’re building or just moved into new construction, save this as your reminder: your landscaping does NOT have to happen all at once.

Now tell me… what’s the one new construction expense nobody warned YOU about?
