New agents, this is advice I wish more people gave you. 🤎

Yes, your content matters. Your branding matters. Showing up online matters.

But great content with no clients isn’t the goal.

Becoming really good at the actual business matters more.

So here are a few things I’d focus on first:

Go to the MLS classes.
Take the classes your association offers. You’re already paying for them in your dues.
Find a mentor you can actually learn from.
Get involved in the industry and start getting in rooms with other agents.
Learn your contracts and understand the transaction from beginning to end.
Ask ALL the questions.

When I was newer in the business, I went to everything I could. That’s actually how I found Women’s Council of Realtors and started getting more involved in the industry.

The goal isn’t just to get the client. It’s to be ready when the client comes.

Build the knowledge. Build the confidence. Then turn the camera on. 🤎

Full-circle moments hit different. 💕

When I opened @whitneyslove Nail & Beauty Bar during the pandemic, I knew I needed more than a great business idea — I needed community, resources, and relationships.

Joining the @qcaacc gave me exactly that. From hosting Business After Hours at the Nail Bar to making connections that helped guide me toward purchasing my first commercial building, Quad County has been part of my growth story.

Now, celebrating 6 years of the Nail Bar, 3 years as a commercial property owner at @the_hiddenbeautysalon and receiving continued business support from Quad County feels incredibly full circle. 💕
