Happy Alopecia Awareness Month! Andddd happy one month since our SOLD OUT @baldtourage fashion show!!! I’ve been taking this last month to reflect on what was definitely one of the most magical weekends of my life and so no better time than Alopecia Awareness Month to share some moments from it!

A weekend of 4 events, 75 models and 250+ attendees was no small feat for our small, scrappy team but boy oh boy was the hard work worth it. My heart is so full of gratitude. Filled with gratitude to be in this place with my personal Alopecia journey, for @christie.valdiserri for giving me the opportunity to work with her to produce this weekend, for my support system for holding me down, but more than anything for the @baldtourage community. For the past 6 years this community has healed so many parts of me and has given me a sisterhood that will last a lifetime. We have soooo many pics and vids from the event so make sure you’re following @baldtourage because you don’t want to all the special moments from our weekend!!

I could go on forever about the person @christie.valdiserri is. Her heart is so evident in everything she does. Her genuine love and dedication to this community is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. She has an unbelievable talent of making every woman, kid, family member, honestly every person she interacts with feel SO SEEN. And it’s so genuine. Like sooo genuine.

And ALSO she’s an absolute boss b*tch. No one gets things done like Christie gets things done. She dreams big and decides that she’s going to do something and nothing will stop her until she gets there. I admire the hell out of it. Getting to work along side her never feels like work. I’m so lucky.

The most special morning going on @ktla5news with my @baldtourage fam 🥹 when I lost my hair 10+ years ago, I thought my life was over. Turns out, my new life was just beginning. Forever grateful for this crazy alopecia journey and for my partner in crime @christie.valdiserri for always bringing me along on her adventures. We’re just getting started!!! 💓💓💓

April showers (internally) bring May flowers (hopefully)

April I got to have some of the most amazing experiences - showing my family this life I’ve worked so hard to build in LA, job opportunities I could only dream of, quiet sunsets that hold me safely. But I’ve also been hurting - grieving past versions of me that i need to shed, parts of my life that no longer exist, the state of the world that is constantly infuriating.

Another reminder that one can’t exist without the other. The good, the bad, the healing, the growth. It’s all just caught up in this ever evolving thing called life.
